Finally have all of them
Usually the Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce versions of Sherlock Holmes on DVD that have been available are the same few; Dressed to Kill, Terror by Night etc. I have seen others on TV, and have recorded some of them. But, this set has some movies I have never seen. I particularly like Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes, though I understand the appeal of some of the others. But, in my mind, he was the best. I like the Universal genre. Now, I finally have all of them.

High quality production in a compact case.
The Complete Sherlock Holmes Collection starring Basil Rathbone from MPI is a fine collection, the video and audio is terrific. It plays successfully on my older DVD player/recorder. The Case is slim - takes up just one-half inch width on my bookcase. The discs are stacked on a sturdy single post. Although this method means you need to remove the top discs to access the lower ones, I prefer this because it takes up the least space. The menu comes up promptly (not promos for other videos), and you can jump ahead or back at approx 10 minute intervals. A high quality production.

It's elementary
We are big fans of Rathbone and Bruce. To find all of their Holmes movies and at a great price, well can't wait to watch them! Why shop anywhere else when Walmart has everything and everything cheaper?

The Complete Sherlock Holmes Collection (DVD)
Best collection of Sherlocke Holmes movies. They are good quality picture for a classic. Sound is okay, but that could be fault of our system has nothing to do with movie quality in my opinion. These classic movies are fun to watch and Basil Rathbone is wonderful in the role of Sherlocke Holmes, one of my favorites. I believe there are 14 movies in this collection but not positive without looking back. Worth buying and adding to your collection.

watch it right away because the discs I got had skips and other flaws. I absolutely love these movies!! But not if they do not play well

DVDs came scratched %26 loose in the box. I thought the DVD case should have been wrapped in some protective cover, but it was not, it was just loose in a cardboard envelope. I have ordered many DVDs on the web, %26 I have never encountered receiving one in such bad condition.
