The Gilded Age: The Complete First Season (DVD)

This show is absolutely fabulous! It's the American Downton Abbey written by the same writer...Julian Fellowes. It's starts in 1882 and the main theme is how old %26 new monied families interacted in society. Its decadence on steroids! The costumes are fantastic! The cast has been perfectly chosen and their stories are very interesting. If you like Downton Abbey, you will LOVE The Gilded Age!

Love this show and I completely recommend it for anyone who loves period dramas! If you love Downton Abbey then this is up your alley as it was created by Julian Fellows who also created Downton! The DVD was great and I loved the extra features! 10/10 recommend!

A show were nothing really happens. Despite this, it does keep you engaged and wanting to see what happens next. The tamest HBO show of all time and a nice cozy watch. Don't expect anything like a big reveal or a huge betrayal in this show. Come for the fact it's an HBO show, stay for the nice clothing and coziness.
