The Hill (DVD), Universal Studios, Drama

We enjoyed the film, and appreciate that it is based on a true story. A good portion of the movie is sad and/or frustrating, but aren't many life experiences? It was well told and I really appreciate that there wasn't any gross or foul content. Not too cheesy for a clean movie either. Of note: It is not a very positive representation of Christianity, as the father lacks grace, joy, etc. and focuses primarily on strict rules he creates. I hope people know that Jesus offers an abundant life and wants our joy to be full! Most of the people I know who want to follow and honor God are not like the pastor in this film. As flawed (and sinful) human beings there are a lot of ways we can make things messy, and the representation is not unfounded, but I wish there was a little more of the grace and goodness of God presented. Even though it has a happy ending, know that it isn't really a feel good movie… a little heavy, but good, and we plan to keep it in our collection.

I loved this movie!It is a movie for the whole family even though it's a older movie. A movie of hope!

Great movie,great story and terrific cast. Was my first time seeing it and sat there watching it from start to finish.

The item was fine. Using a delivery service that does not have any common sense and delivers to a business address and leaves the item out exposed to rain until someone comes back to open the business the next day is "STUPID" Hire people with some common sense and that speak English or ship the item as requested by the purchaser!
