I'm 22 years old and I love the honeymooners...that's why it's a classic it's loved by the young and old. This set is great. Very nicely packaged and easy to use. Lowest price I could find on the internet. Worth every penny.
Great classic. Great price.
I bought this for my husband, he loves the Honeymooners, this has been one of the most wonderful gifts for him, he watches it all the time and laughs everytime, my kids think it funny too! He really does not relax much, so this was a good way to get him to chill out for a while. Thanks.
Hours and hours of classic entertainment in this one little box!! My teenage son used to watch the reruns on TV, so I got this for him for Christmas a few years back. This time, I gave it to my mom for her birthday...she remembers watching the original broadcasts of the show with my dad...I think it was probably one of the best gifts I've ever given her!!
The original classic 39 episodes are all here on five discs. Funny, just like I remember them.
Great Classic
Very happy with my recent purchase of the Honeymooners Classic 39 episodes. This is a must have for all the Honeymooner fans out there. Can't wait to add the Lost Episodes set to our collection. This was a Christmas gift for my husband and he's been laughing ever since he got it !
Good price and great gift for a Honeymooner lover like my husband.
This is a great set, however, I have this on VHS from the 90's and the benefit is that the episodes on VHS have the name of the episode and original air date as the music runs. It is nice if you want it for sleep as it keeps playing and if you set your vhs up correct, it will play, rerun and shut off. The DVD takes too long to load, you have to play each episode and their is a 7-8 second blank between episodes. Digitally, we are settling for a lot of lost time. Playing records, cassettes, VHS's is instant on. We are now wasting precious time waiting for digital loading. In addition, DVDs are easily scratched and not reusable where you can copy over an existing cassette or VHS with just a little tape. The big test is if it needs electricity to operate. In 1000 years, what will anthropologists determine our society with all the little digital heroin devices that are good for shimming a fridge or ? Not usable to adjust an 8-track, that takes a book of matches. I regularly use a wind up 78 record player, no volume control, no electricity, durable clunky records. The stylus is a cut off safety pin. What fun and it is portable and plays in sandstorms at the beach. Stop looking at your phone, the love of your live just walked by.......
Great old time shows.
