Fun game to play. If you like shooting games with a story, you'll like this one. It's an older game but still fun.
Fun
[Employee of walmartcanada] I decided to wait until the price dropped on this game before buying it mainly because of all the negative reviews I read online. I must say though I really liked the game and I'm glad I picked it up. The first thing you'll notice about this game right from the get-go is the realism and attention to detail. The graphics are stunning and the game is very cinematic (which I love!). There are a lot of cut scenes in the game but in all fairness most of them are interactive so you still remain engaged. Think of this game as a playable movie and you will not be disappointed. The story is good and the length is definitely not as short as people are saying, especially if you play it on the normal or hard setting. Overall I really enjoyed the game and I hope to see a sequel one day.
Beautifully designed game with a terrific story line. As far as game play, I find it a bit slow as it is largely mini-game style broken up with cool and fun shoot up scenes. Very good buy.
First off, there are a lot of negative reviews about this game out there that I think are misguided. People are complaining that cutscenes ruin this game, but for me, they made the game. The developers even said this game was mean tot be a mainly cinematic experience. The game consists of about 50% actual gameplay and about 50% cutscenes, and are they gorgeous! The story mode runs about 7-9 hours, and that's really all that this game has to offer. That being said, if you are looking for a game that doesn't drag out but delivers an interesting and cinematic story, you're in the right place with this title.
This was a pretty good game. I bought it for my boyfriend but wound up playing it myself and i enjoyed the story line and graphics. The ending is kind of a cliffhanger though!
I like the game play, graphics a little slow but it is fun.
Bottom line the graphics are good but a little grainy, the storyline starts out good but goes nowhere fast, the campaign is only about 8 hours long which makes it even worst because there's nothing interesting about the game that would make you want to revisit it, and there's no multiplayer to play with others online. I had fun playing the game and unraveling the story but once it starts getting good the game is over with no real resolution to what's going on in white chapel 1886. The Order 1886 had so much potential to be an amazing game due to the era in which it was built and the interesting weapons made from items that were available at that time. It makes me wonder why they pushed the release date back on this game so many times that really wasn't even worth it! You can pass on this game! You won't be missing out on anything!
I have found this game very short with 3-4 hours of actual gameplay leaving the rest to so many cut-scenes. This is adding with average gameplay mechanics. This is just a story driven game that should have been better with just one focus, THE STORY. All in all I am upset with my purchase and would recommend to get this game in the $10 bin.
The order: 1886 is a game for the ps4... I use the term game loosely with this interactive video. It's more like a long boring movie with an unsatisfying end to it. Sadly the cost I paid for this lame interactive movie was far to great for this. If you are so inclined to play this game I suggest you rent it since it only takes a night to watch it if you can stand to. I got so bored I had to take breaks. I wasn't sure I would even finish this game. The graphics are not that great your path is very forced. I can't stress how bad this title is.
