The Period Company. Cotton High Waisted, Period Underwear for Medium Flows, Black

I have always been curious about how period panties work and a bit grossed out by them but for someone who has extremely busy days working in healthcare and with breaks being very limited, I feel the most comfortable knowing if I go a little longer without changing, there won't be a mess. Something that literally keeps me up at night since I toss and turn all night! Very discreet and comfortable. I truly enjoy them and I am starting to prefer them over other options including discs and pads.

I'm currently stuck in bed so I got these just in case, can't run to the bathroom at the moment. Never used for that, but they're comfortable although I wish I went up a size. Might get one more pair.

I use these for outdoor physical work in sweaty swampy Florida, in the heat. Otherwise I was soaking wet after 30 minutes and I like to work 2-3 hours in the early morning. They are comfortable and wash nicely. I like the wider crotch!

I didn't even know this was an option I was just browsing looking for any option to spend less money on my period and this has been the best solution I could have asked for and I know your thinking it probably feels like a diaper but it doesn't obviously it's thicker than regular underwear but nowhere near as thick as a pad I've been using these for 2 months and I would never go back I've never had a leak or a stain even with overnight wear

They work great and you can wear them all day and still feel dry. highly recommend.

I actually bought some for my niece and she has rally loved them. She is not afraid to do what she needs to do without thinking about leaks and or is she running out of pads. She loves she does not have to buy pads…..

The best production absolutely love these

Cotton is my go-to fabric because of its natural absorbency and breathability, but these were disappointing. I really, really wanted it to work out because the other style from the Period Company was just amazing. Pros: The cotton blend was very soft and comfortable on the skin. It also felt really durable, like thick premium cotton. It absorbed a good deal of fluids, like way more than expected, given that these are their medium flow pair. Cons: The fit is horrible! I'm between sizes, but I've never had this much difficulty finding a proper fit. It's definitely not true to size. I compared these to other styles in the same brand and to other brands as well, but they were way larger than any of them. I tried 4 sizes! They were either too large or too small. The high cut seems almost misplaced because it rides high on the buttocks instead of the thighs. It made me wonder if the sizing issue is related to the weird cut. I can't say much about leaks because it's more related to the fit rather than the material itself. The gusset does an amazing job of catching fluids, but if the underwear doesn't fit against your skin closely, then it won't catch properly.

I have mixed feelings about these period underwear in terms of fit. The waist/hip region fit true to size, but the crotch region was oddly large. I'm not sure if it's because of how it's cut or how it sits on my body type. I might try a different size or maybe style for a better fit. In terms of function, as in their ability to contain leaks, they were awesome! I've never used period underwear before, so I was super suspicious and concerned, but my friend insisted they were lifesavers, so I gave it a try. She was so right. Where have these been all my life?! They did an excellent job of containing a variety of fluids. I even did a test run before washing and wearing. I propped them over the sink and started pouring 1 cup of water, and they held up! These are for moderate flows, but I dropped 1 cup of water, and it didn't overflow the gusset. That was impressive. The gusset absorbed the water quickly, and it only took a few minutes for the top layer to dry enough where it didn't feel wet wet, just moist. I didn't time how long before they got dry. The fact that they held that much water in one go was enough for me, lol. I would recommend trying different sizes before committing. As for how they feel, because of the baggy crotch it was odd. The fabric is cotton, but they felt less breathable than my regular cotton underwear. Like everywhere, not just the gusset. The elastic bands don't have much elasticity, so that could explain the weird fit, too. As for the thickness of the gusset, it was hardly noticeable. It's like wearing an ultra thin pad or liner.

I received my order today only to find, to my horror, that they were used and dirty! The box was torn and the panties were sticking out. I am absolutely appalled that this could even happen as I'm sure there are laws and regulations about this for the safety of the customer. They will be returned as I do not want used period panties! Absolutely unacceptable! I also ordered the same pair in a different style. That one came sealed, new and clean in the box. It apears to be made of quality, comfortable material and the coverage seems adequate. I'll updatey review after my next cycle and the return proccess of this pair.
