6-pieces means 3 containers and 3 lids. These are very heavy, glass material They are not super big nor too small. I consider them to be medium size. I like that they fit inside one another for storage. The lids have a venting pop open button. The containers can go in the stove or dishwasher. The lids should be hand washed. They are top quality and clean easily.

I bought this as a exact replacement for one I had before that broke when my husband dropped it, we had that one for a couple years this one broke the 2nd time I used it. Wasn't even dropped just cracked while it was in the oven. The lid came cracked my I didn't care about that because I don't use the lid.

I absolutely love the ceramic containers. The only reason I took away 3 stars is because the plastic covers, which are integral to these containers, arrived broken. So now i have to use them with plastic wrap, exactly what i was trying to avoid. So although the containers themselves are lovely, and they really are, without the plastic covers, they are much less useful.

The beautiful baker came smashed into a thousand pieces. This is RIDICULOUS! I have read numerous ratings saying the same thing. Apparently, WalMart hasn't bothered to change the packaging before the bakers are sent out. I thought surely that the problem would have been solved by now. The baker was top quality, but delivery services are pathethetic now and many things get broken unnecessarily. SO WHY DOESN'T WALMART CHANGE THE PACKAGING rather than continuing to let their merchandise be destroyed? It's insanity.

I was really disappointed to find the lid broken right out of the box, especially since this was meant to be a Christmas present. It definitely took away from the excitement. I requested a replacement, but it took 10 days to arrive, which only added to the frustration. The product itself might be fine once intact, but the experience was far from ideal.

This is the second one I bought- the first was perfect. Why does the lid not fit this time!!! Can you send me a new lid that fits? Pleae!! It's so annoying, love the dish hate the lid.

I ordered this twice. With both dishes arriving with a broken handle on one end. The inside packaging was nonexistent on the first arrival. The second dish had minimal packaging. Care was not taken to insure this dish came intact. FedX was quite destructive and did not handle package with care. Walmart refused to replace a 3rd time, so I canceled my order.
