A 4K Wonder
One of the all time great movies. I have always loved this movie and in 4K it is just breathtaking. The colors really pop out at you and the sound is great. Everything about this movie just looks so much better in 4K. If you haven't seen this movie in 4K you owe it to yourself to buy this and experience this movie in a new way.

A favorite for young and old. The Princess Bride does not disappoint. This is a Criterion Collection presentation in 4k HDR Dolby Vision that is spectacular. The sound is DTS-HD. Included is a Blu-Ray Disc with lots of extras and a clothbound booklet with the author's, William Goldman, thoughts on what it took to get this movie made. Just a great film for the whole family.

Criterion does it again with this 80's favorite!👍
Beautifully designed treatment of a favorite 80's fairytale flick. This collectable Criterion 4K and Blu Ray combo arrives with a royal purple cloth fold out collector's case, stitched-in storybook and film history/production notes. Added on-disc video goodies includes making of and casting documentaries, actor interviews and separate audio tracks by director Rob Riner and cast. Video and sound transfer are gorgeous, especially for a late 1980's film. Sure it's a tad pricey but Criterion really hit it out of the park with this popular fan-favorite and beautiful treatment. Would recommend to any/all fans of this classic, fairytale yarn. Worth every penny. 😁

Worth the upgrade.
Heartwarming adventure comedy story. Loved it back then, love it even more now. The 4K transfer is excellent with strong details throughout. Soind is excellent as wl with good separation. Worth the upgrade for the improved picture quality and audio.

Criterion offers the whole package as usual. Beautiful case in the form of a book, a meticulous transfer, and exhaustive extra materials on the making of the film. a must have for any fan.

A classic film for the entire family
This movie is an absolute classic. It has adventure, comedy, excitement, romance, a swashbuckling love-stricken pirate and a princess, all within a medieval-renaissance setting. A story that is adored by adults and children. Very highly recommended.
