The Sopranos: The Complete Series (DVD New Box Art) [DVD]

I am a fan of the Sopranos, so I wanted to have the official box set to add to my collection. I looked around and found it for a great price from the seller GRUV Entertainment, who packaged it well, and delivered the package to my doorstep days before the estimated delivery date. In addition, there was no concern about getting counterfeit DVDs from this seller as some people have experienced on here with other "third party" sellers as GRUV Entertainment is owned and operated by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, so I was confident that the item I received was the real deal.

Still in process of watching the series. So far story is a bit dry and not as good as the hype surrounding the series, but that could change as i view more of the episodes

Great show from HBO. Worth watching on dvd whenever you want. Also for some 20 somethings who didn't see it the first time it was on.

I bought this for my son. I have my own copy (which I did not want). Neither one of us think this is a very good show. It is definitely overrated in our opinion. Boring story lines that often go nowhere (story is started and then they never mention it again. Quite irritating). Tony is the best character but it ends there. Lazy ending. Not impressed.

The show itself is great so far; however, after having to skip Season 1 Episode 7 because it would not play, I am having the exact same problem with Season 1 Episode 11. I have cleaning solution specifically for DVDs, and after cleaning the discs, as well as using a machine lens cleaner on the player that is less than a year old, it is becoming increasingly disturbing that I am unable to view multiple Episodes. The video and audio stops completely, then I can hear it trying to skip ahead to try again, but after about two minutes of it trying and failing, it kicks all the way out to the player's main menu (not just the disc's). For the Episodes I have been able to watch, I am enjoying the characters, the pacing, scenery, and story. I am just afraid this issue is going to continue on other discs, and I'm going to miss a significant portion of the show for which I've paid good money to own.

Very Defective. Several of the disks in the set would not play. Most of the remaining disks exhibited glitches throughout the playtime. The quality of the show, itself, was topnotch. However, there was abundant material that would be inappropriate for children.

Unfortunately, when I watched the first disc, the third episode was missing in the second disc. The sixth episode was missing. Because of that I didn't go any further and I returned the set. Not sure if it was the one off or not but buyer beware.

The Sopranos full seasons were delivered in damaged and broken parts! I don't appreciate the fact that they are in terrible condition but I will watch the DVDs and if they are damaged, it will be reported and returned!

Format is different Control shut up are different. Might be from a foreign country Second season disk doesn't work.

It's missing episodes. Every season I've watched, there's been a repeat episode. EXAMPLE: I try to watch S1E8 but it shows S1E3. Try to play S2E10 and it shows S2E5. This has been a problem for season 1, 2
