I purchased this Bluetooth wireless meat thermometer on sale to cook a bone-in prime rib for Christmas dinner. It worked perfectly and did everything as described. The app is easy to use. Note: before first use, fully charging the probe (via the two included AAA batteries) took about 7 hours, so I recommend charging it the night before. Worked great! Pretty easy to figure out. Not too terrible for quick temp checks either if you don't just leave it in the meat, just open the app and use the probe and it reads really quick. Curious how accurate the ambient part of the probe is, it was reading the ambient temp of the oven significantly lower than what the oven temp was set at. Used 2 different additional thermometers to verify the internal temp of the roast was reliable and it was.
Works great! Runs and charges on two AAA batteries. Fast charge and stays charged for your next use. Has a warning light when the battery needs changed. The app is clean and easy to use.
Exactly what he needed! Works much better than the temperature probes that came with the smoker. He loves that it gives the ambient temperature inside of the smoker as well!

I have used this twice now and it's easy to use, clean and very accurate.
This worked well on our Christmas prime rib in the oven. I was able to keep track of the temperature easily and pull the roast at the correct time. It came out perfectly.
I like everything about this product. it does take quite a while for the batteries to charge the probe though so put them in well ahead of the time you plan to use it.
I wish the probe was charged out of the box to make it easier to connect! But otherwise would recommend.
I wish it was a rechargeable base battery, but works well otherwise.
