Kingsford Original Charcoal Briquettes, 16 lbs

Kingsford charcoal is a well known brand. Walmart offered a competitive price, easy ordering and delivery was quick.

Kingsford is my tried and true go to charcoal. I always have great results. It lights easily, burns evenly and enhances the flavor of what ever you're cooking. Reasonably priced and delivered to my door.

This charcoal is the only charcoal my husband will use when he is barbecuing the food always tastes so good. I have had barbecue where I could taste the charcoal on the meat it's awful. I've never had that with this brand of charcoal, so that's why it's the only one we use. It stays hot a long time. No more charcoal has to be added while cooking.

Tried and True! Works perfect each and every time...no hits and misses! KingSFord is the brand to go to when bbq'ing! Worth the tiny bit more you pay and if you think about it, if you're used to buying the no name brand or a different brand, you tend to use more getting it up and started until you get those beautiful red hot coals. Make yourself a pyramid (in the middle, over to the left or right, however long you plan on cooking a certain piece of meat will help you determine this.) Squirt some KingSFord Lighter Fluid on your charcoal, soak it in fluid real good to build a nice flame. Then let the flame die out, watch your embers light up nice, bright and hot, and you're ready to start grilling. My personal and humble opinion, there is NOTHING like a charcoal grill as opposed to a gas grill. Charcoal will Always give you that wonderful smoky flavor. Tip: Make darn sure you have burned off ALL of the Lighter Fluid or your meat may and can absorb that LF taste and we don't want that. I'm gonna go Light The Grill. Chow for Now.

Substitions are difficult to consider if not available in one mfg . When you forget an item after you have Paid and order I cannot find a way to add items? Seems every time I order my wife finds another item or so, so I could not Add?

Kingsford is the standard everyone else gets measured against, and for good reason. The 16 lb bag gets you through multiple grill sessions without running out mid-cook, which is the worst thing that can happen when you're feeding a family. The briquettes light consistently, reach a solid temperature in about 20-25 minutes with a chimney starter, and hold heat long enough for everything from quick burgers to a longer cook. They don't spark excessively or produce an off smell once fully lit. I've tried cheaper alternatives and they either burn uneven or die out too fast — Kingsford just works. At this price from Walmart there's really no reason to mess with anything else. Buy in bulk and keep extras on hand.

this isn't right I have asked that they bring it to the door apartment Ai am in a wheelchair can't get outside I can't lift that bag of charcoal up this is not fair to me because I had this issue several times now the rest of my orders that came today was at my door but didn't even knock or ring the door belli happened to open the door and there it sitting i can't stress enough I am disabled and disappointed with my delivery service

This is not what I originally ordered and I didn't receive a notice of this change . The worker came out with these an d I explained to him what I did order and he went and got them . I originally ordered cowboy charcoal 40 pound and paid for that

I did not get my charcoal, where is it and when you going to deliver it????? I paid for it now I want it. Lately Walmart has been bad about deliverl. I pay for things and don't get them. I need this to cook with today. that was the reason for getting it in the first place.
