Thermos Stainless Steel Food Jar with Spoon, 16oz

Really good product. I really like the Thermos Stainless Steel Food Jar with Spoon, 16oz. My daughter has always had the small thermos container but she's 5 now and her meal portions have increased. I was looking for something big that would keep her food warm. When I saw this, I thought this was perfect for my family. Even though she really wanted one with butterflies and unicorns. We chose this because she can use it but so can anybody in the family. It has a pretty, yet classic design. The fact that it has a spoon incorporated is a huge plus. It reminded me of the camping gear I would use when I was younger. Its also good quality. The food is warm from the moment I warm it up around 6.30 am to when she eats it at noon. If you're looking for a good quality container for your family's food this is definitely the product to get.

GOOD THERMOS FOR HOT AND COLD FOOD

If you have a son that likes hot meals in lieu of sandwiches, you're going to need a good container to keep the food warm until lunch time. This Thermos brand container is just what I needed. I can warm up my son's food in the morning, put it into the steel container, and it will stay warm until his lunch time at noon. One of the best features is the foldable spoon that has its own compartment at the top of the container. It's easy to clean and has withstood him dropping it on the floor several times without breaking. A+!

My husband works outside and can't microwave his lunch. And buying lunch all the time can be pricey. That is why I was excited when I received this Thermos stainless steel food jar. It is one of the greatest inventions. It keeps your food hot or cold for quite some time because it is sealed tight. It is 16 ounce so it can fit quite a lot of food. The thermos has two compartments - one for food and one for foldable spoon. You can fit some nuts in that compartment too. Double wall insulation keeps the thermos cool to the touch with hot contents, and it does not “sweat” with cold contents. My husband has been using it every day for a few days and so far he likes it. It does not take much space in a backpack or a bag, and it is pretty light. Overall I think it is a cool thing to have not only when you work outside but for camping, fishing and other outdoor activities.

I love having this for work I can take hot soup with me and it stays that way for hours HOT! I can pack this at 10 in the morning and by 4 it's ready for me to eat I love this little guy it's my new best friend. It comes with a spoon attached on the lid so I don't have to worry about packing the spoon. It does it for me! Also this little guy is that the perfect size it don't take up a lot of room in my bag. And it keeps my food hot I love it I highly recommend this.

Got to try this the other day with my father-in-law soup and I left it in the thermos for over 2 hours and it was still piping hot like the minute it came off the stove. Honestly I wasn't expecting it to stay that hot but when I took that first bite and seared my time I instantly regretted it. I am very happy with this product and I will be in it for more of my lunch and can't wait to see how it goes.

This product is great. Its much smaller than I expected. It's a much more condensed version than traditional thermoses. However, there is a lot of room on the inside to pack a heaping helping of food in it. It maintains the temperature of your food for hours. It keeps your cold food cold for sixteen hours and your hot food hot for seven hours. This is perfect. I would more than likely use this product for cold food or beverages for on the go. This product comes equipped with a stainless steal spoon that is located at the top of the jar. The cap itself is divided into sections. The first half of the cap can be screwed off in order to retrieve the foldable spoon. It has a neat little compartment which specifically holds the spoon in place, so you don't have to worry about the spoon shifting from one side to the other. The second half of the cap twists off to reveal the inside of the roomy 16 ounce container. The thermos itself is stainless steel and vacuum insulated. I would have liked for this product to make the thermos more versatile, perhaps a compartment for a straw in addition to the compartment for the spoon. What if I wanted to drink broth from my homemade chicken noodle soup instead of eating it. I would like to alternate, perhaps keep the thermos at my desk where I can sip my food in case I am too busy to take a lunch.

This is a great thermos! After receiving it, it has been in near constant use. I have used the Thermos brand before, and am happy to report that their reputation for reliable, excellent products continues on! The review will be broken down into categories for ease of use. Presentation – This brand has always been one of my favorites because of their style! An understated, simplistic vibe that exudes function over form. Black, grey, and sleek stainless steel…with lovely curves that ignore all the flash that can be seen from competitors today. Function – This is the perfect soup/drink container that does exactly what it says it will. Keeping hot things hot for seven hours (longer, in my case) and cold things could for hours and hours on end. I even had something stay cold for twenty four hours before! The spoon is, well, a collapsible spoon…so there is a little to be desired there. I think that that is just a problem with spoons like this anyway though. Five out of Five! I would highly recommend this product and the reason why can be summed up in three words. Simple. Stylish. Works. Thermos has maintained their reputation for excellent products, as always.

Perfect product for bringing soup to lunch with. The soup stays piping hot and the spoon is a bonus so you dont neet to bring one along seperately. The stainless steel looks nice and thermos is a quality brand known for their high quality products. I am guessing you can use this for smoothies etc in the summer, but have not tried it yet. Perfect for a nice serving of hot lunch!

This stainless steel-lined thermos keeps hot food hot for seven hours and cold food cold for sixteen hours. It comes with a spoon that swivels in half so it fits right in the lid. Nice idea! I washed and dried the container as per instructions and then tested it out. A regular size can of soup fit perfectly filling the sixteen ounce thermos a little over three-quarters full. I didn't let the thermos sit with hot water in it for five to ten minutes as suggested in the instructions because I just don't see me or others having time to do that when I'm rushing around in the morning. It had just been washed so it was slightly warm at least. Getting the steaming hot soup from the pan into the thermos was harder than expected. I really wish it had a wider mouth. Once the cap was on tight, there were no leaks. Even rolling the thermos around my counter and holding it upside down didn't cause it to leak. The outside of the container didn't get hot and was easy to hold and carry. Fast forward over eight hours later and the soup was still warm. Perfect eating temperature. This was sitting in a room ranging from 66 to 70 degrees all day. Obviously results will vary if ambient temperature is hotter or colder than that. The spoon worked well. Just make sure you don't leave it in the thermos after you eat and screw the top back on. It will not tighten all the way and will allow whatever you have inside to leak everywhere as I found out the hard way. This is a pretty good product all in all that would be great for work or school or trips to the park or beach—wherever you don't have access to a microwave to heat your food.
