build quality exceeds expectations. Solid thus far. used with M4 iPad Pro and thunderbolt port on laptop often.
I have found that this Thunderbolt cable to be an excellent value for the price. The quality of the materials used to manufacture this cable to be excellent. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a Thunderbolt 5 cable.
very quick charging, when paired with a good 60-100w charging device.
Nice construction and speed
It's not true Thunderbolt 5, so your transfer speed may vary. I was transferring around 550 - 650MB per second on average, when I moved my entire profile over from the M1 pro max mac to the M3 pro max mac. It still got the job done in about 30 minutes or so, so I wasn't terribly upset, and it was only like an 18 dollar cable.
i was expecting a "Thunderbolt cable to be able to transfer data. these do not. they charge only
Using these with my Macs, they sometimes work well and other times do not. It seems to depend upon the device at the other end. I have two slightly different LG Ultrafine 5K monitors, and they work with the later one but not the other. The cables don't work between my Mac Studio and iMac to create a Thunderbolt Bridge. It seems hit or miss (though consistent) regarding which devices these work with and which they do not. I'll probably return them and replace them with something what works in all cases.
This cord did not work to connect my Apple laptop—MacBook—to docking station and monitor even though the specs stated it should work. I bought an Apple Thunderbolt cord and things worked perfectly.
False advertising - does not actually work to connect an external monitor.
It is not a Thunderbolt cable. It says on the package USB C. That is not the same.
