Thyme and Table Stoneware Salad Plate, Black Onyx Collection

I was looking for black salad plates with gold trim for my table setting. They are a matte finish and look classy.These turned out to be perfect.

I like this little plate. It's “salad” size. I like it for when I don't really need a big dinner plate, but don't want to use a small plastic plate either. It's fairly heavy for its size. Should hold up well to the dishwasher and being occasionally dropped.

My review on the Thyme and Table Onyx Salad Plate, Black. This plate is very pretty and it is a really heavy and sturdy dish. There is a beautiful, shiny metal looking trim around the edge of the black, but it is still microwave safe for heating food up. Also, I like that this Thyme and Table plate is dish washer safe and cleans up very easily with no spots or smudges. These black salad plates can really dress up a dinner table for special occasions and holidays. I would recommend getting a whole set of these dishes for sure.

This plate arrived in new condition. It could of used a lil more padding just incase but it did arrive fine. It is a sturdy plate. It has some weight to it. It is around the same size as other salad/small plates i have. It is a salad/small plate. The edges have a rim of shine which compliments the black well. I love the black color. I seems to be a good quality plate. I washed it and color was not affected by it. Over all I recommend this plate for sure.

this item blew me away! I was so surprised by the quality of this item! No one would believe that this came from Walmart! It looks like it should be sold at William and Sonoma or some other high-end place like Pottery Barn. But don't let the looks deceive you. It is very affordable and very durable. The kids love eating out of them. Best of all dishwasher safe! Highly recommend this!

The plates are quite fine and nice. We like these styles of plates – simple, solid colors with no patterns, but still presents a modern touch. The colors we picked are nice; it's solid black with the gold on the edges, which gives the extra flare and color for food pictures where plating is JUST as important as the food itself. If that's not your thing, there's a lot of choices from this selection of dinnerware to mix and match with. It is also dishwasher and microwave safe. I wouldn't even buy dinnerware that wasn't. The material is good. It's heavier than I like, and if you're getting a lot of them, the weight really adds up. So while it IS sturdy and solid to the touch, we don't like heavy dinnerware all that much. However, for occasions where we host fancier dinners (which we haven't in this pandemic), we like to bring out fancier plating like these ones. They're pretty, weighty, and sturdy. It gives people the feeling like they're being treated to a nice and fancy dinner/get-together. It's all about presentation. Plus, these dinnerware are really nice for Instagram and other foodie pictures, for those who love to take pictures of food before anyone can eat.

I believe that little details make all the difference in our lives. It is so good to have the opportunity to use cute things to bright my day. That is why it choose this desert plate because even in the small things I can appreciate beauty. I am using it to measure my breakfast portion of food in the mornings. This desert plate is super resistant made of a very good quality ceramic. This type of ceramic is a Jack of trades in the kitchen. This plate can go in the freezer and in the microwave. It is not safe for oven, which is fine because one does not want to damage such a cute piece. Also it important to pay attention to the wash instructions, this plate is safe for dishwasher but it can be soaked for long periods, ceramic products are different from porcelain products, they are more porous and by that they absorve more water and can break easily. This plate is also a really cute piece for a formal dinner, because it is elegant and the table looks chic. Being in a matte onyx color with a light silver border. I am so far in love with this product.

This plate is so beautiful and the perfect size for salads. I love the color and the faint gold ring around the dish. It washed well in the dishwasher and I didn't notice any scratches or dings afterwards. I also like that it is microwave and freezer safe. I will definitely be purchasing more from this line because the quality and weight of this dinnerware is exactly what I have been looking for. I would recommend to anyone.

These plates are cute. But you have to buy entire set one plate at a time. They are stylish and would work for a small family. But for a big family I don't think it would be very cost friendly. These are just not something I'd see spending a lot of money for. They are stone ware an microwave and dishwasher safe, but they are made in china.
