I was surprised how heavy this citrus juicer is. I am so glad that I finally got one. I have other juicers, but I have to pick all the seed out after I squeeze the fruit. This one strains out all the seeds, saving me time. It's very solid and does not feel like something that will fall apart. The only con, I can see, is that you can't really use it for oranges.. It won't hold anything larger than a large lemon. That's ok with me because I usually use lemon or lime juice. I can't remember the last time I needed to squeeze an orange.

This thing is SO heavy and well made. I'm pretty sure you couldn't break it if you tried to. It's a nice size so you can get it done without slicing into a bunch of pieces. It feels solid and good in the hand. I'm concerned that the finish will wear off eventually with the citrus juices, but other than that, I would definitely buy this again. I never knew I needed this in my life until I had it, and now I don't know how I could live without it.

Thyme & Table Hand Held Gold Manual Juicer Citrus Squeezer. Wow this 14.1 ounces citrus press is heavy in a good way compared to my cracked 3.8 ounces green plastic press shown in photo. It's 8.5" inches and can fit lemons/limes of 2.5" inches in diameter. Brushed gold finish of some kinda of durable metal material and comfortable handle. Pros: Beautiful gold Finish, easy to press due to longer comfortable handle, works great for larger limes. Cons. Package mentions avoid prolonged soaking and not for use in dishwasher for either rusting or discoloration. Holes are a bit wider so small seeds could go through however I highly recommend this presser because eventually all those cheap plastic juicers are going to crack and fall apart.

For most of my life, I've never thought to use one of these until recent when I got a plastic one for cheap. It was great until it broke after a few uses. I then thought to get a more sturdy one and this one caught my eye. I use this almost everyday and it's safe to put in dishwasher.

This citrus squeezer is beautiful and very aesthetically pleasing. I can definitely see myself using this often for salads, dressings, juices, etc. It's a bright gold color which goes with a lot of my other kitchen utensils and appliances and it looks very modern while also having a timeless design. I would definitely also so recommend it as a gift if you place it in a gift basket with some notes fresh fruit things like that it would make a very nice housewarming gift or hostess gift.

Beautiful citrus squeezer the only downside is that it's a bit heavy that's the only negative side other than that it's good!

Mix feelings about this product. It is heavy for my liking. It's is nice quality don't get me wrong. I was a little skeptical since it is gold color that with the acid it was going to start peeling or cracking but I've been using it at least twice a week for a month and a half and it hasn't peel or changed color at all. Works well does what it's supposed to do. Easy to use easy to wash. Overall good product.

The weight and coating of the Thyme & Table Hand Held Gold Manual Juicer Citrus Squeezer certainly gives the appearance and feel of a gold bar molded into the shape of a squeezer. The product is a two-piece unit that has one solid cupped ladle folding into another similar ladle with holes at the bottom of it to allow juice to flow thru. The squeezer works just fine with a citrus portion in between the two handled ladels. However, one then must put a bowl under it to catch the liquid or put it over the in-process entree or side dish. The question I have is, why not include a third handled ladle at the bottom to catch the liquid, if preferred over the two other options? Additionally, why must the unit not be soaked or put into a dishwasher. Most American families prefer to clean cooking and serving utensils in the dishwasher, not by hand, just as they prefer to clean clothes in a dishwasher and not by hand. Nevertheless, it is what it is and can still be used efficiently but as designed and marketed.

Yes, this will squeeze the juice from a half lemon. It will also push out a few seeds in the process. So if you squeeze the lemon juice directly into a dish like shrimp scampi you're gonna find yourself or someone else chomping down on a very hard lemon seed. I had hoped this could replace the reamer I have had for decades, but nope! The reamer I have has a built in tray that prevents seeds from passing through.
