Thyme & Table Silicone 13" Beechwood Handle Black Kitchen Ladle

I usually would never consider a silicone ladle but it's honestly one of the better silicone ladles I've used. sturdy with a good size scoop and a nice handle.

Exceeded my expectations. It is very durable and stylish. my only suggestion is to hand wash only to preserve the wood. Do not soak wooden handle in water.

I've been looking for a soup ladle for a long time. I wanted something that had a large scoop to distribute a full portion of soup. I wanted a long handle so that I didn't burn my hand on a hot pot. I also wanted one that had a nice design so that I can leave on my kitchen counter. This one had it all.

This ladle was in short supply but I finally was able to get one. It is big enough to use with a large pot or the right size for a tourers or serving bowl. The wood accent makes it perfect for using it for serving. I love the Thyme %26 Table brand and so far have not been disappointed with any of their products and they all coordinate together.

This ladle is black silicon with a wooden handle. I got the slotted spoon and spatula/flipper also. We had one wooden handle come off, but it went back on easily. Says top rack dishwasher safe, but because of the way it's fastened together, handwashing would preserve it's durability. Like them because silicone is heat resistant but won't scratch up anything.

Based on the reviews for silicon ladle we decided to purchase that product for soup, but, wood handle was to heavy for me , if you like heavy weight spoons or ladle that's for you, also the black silicon quality is cheap and price for ladle is high.

I mai didn't have a ladle few weeks ago. It was difficult to serve soup. So I bought this so I'd be ready next time. The picture and description are ‘pretty ladle'. Pretty doesn't equal functionality. Handle needs better grip Wet hands and you soup?? There are measuring lines instead the ladle. CAN'T RESD BLACK ON BLACK NEEDS REDESIGN

These ladles are a beautiful design in CONCEPT. Elegant design look, but flawes in quality of materials. The bottom section is silicone, which seems like a good material for a ladle.The problem is whenever drying this material fibers from a cotton kitchen towel left particles stuck on the ladle;NOT WHAT YOU WANT IN YOUR FOOD! When washing the ladle before the first use, I followed the manufacturer instructions for cleaning, and used a mild dish detergent and hot water to clean it. DID NOT LET THIS LADLE SOAK... SIMPLY submerge it, wiping it down to clean it, then immediately dried this off with a towel.The wooden handle began to crack and looked like it had been used for YEARS! IT LOOKED AWFUL! These ladles are a GREAT DESIGN "CONCEPT," but the quality falls VERY SHORT once you clean them before use.
