Thyme & Table Silicone Cooking Spoon, Blue Speckled

I was looking for a cooking spoon that would be "non scratch" on my pans. Definitely fits the bill. In fact, I wasn't sure how I'd like this spoon, when I first ordered it. Now that I have it and used it a few times, I love it. Seems to be of a nice heavy-duty quality. Doesn't scratch my pans, washes well in the dishwasher, and the handle is softer to hold, then my traditional cooking utensils for non-stick pans.

My new favorite all purpose spoon! Easy of my cookware. Great material. Withstands heat. Easy to clean.

There's nothing I dislike about this spoon. It's soft and gentle enough for Teflon coatings yet stiff enough to break up ground meat in a skillet and deglaze pans, doesn't stain, and washes easily.

This is a very good cooking spoon. We had an old red one that lasted years and years until the dog ate it. So I needed a good replacement. I looked at several. Some had flimsy handles and some had brittle feeling bowls. This one was the perfect combination of sturdy feeling and heft to show that it was a good quality spoon. I've used it a few times and it still looks brand new (even though I've cooked with tomato based sauces and various spices). I love the speckled finish as it adds interest to the appearance of the spoon. If you're looking for a replacement (or even your first!) go-to cooking spoon, this is the one you want!

It's smaller than I expected. But for some uses that might be helpful. Very nice looking.

it's a cool spoon I had the previous version where it was pink . needed to replace that one and went with the same silicone type . it's much smaller than other regular cooking utensils. that's why I gave it 3 stars shorter for sure. other than that it's good

This thing weeks of a plastic smell, chemical-like . I thought it had to just be the one that I had so I bought a second one and sure enough still stinks to heck. I feel like when you put your spoon up to smell the food , you can totally smell the plastic over the smell of the food. This does not seem like it would be safe because if it's giving off an odor doesn't that mean it's also giving off some kind of a chemical? I have decided to throw out the second spoon as well as the first one. They're not exactly cheap either. I have other silicone items from different brands and they do not give off this odor.
