Thyme & Table Stainless Steel Fine Grater & Zester

The Thyme & Table stainless steel fine grater and zester had a nice look, comes with a guard for a when it's not in use, the handle is amazing and easy to hold, and the zester does an amazing job! I was able to zest my citrus in no time at all, and the zest was extremely fine without clumping up.

WOW is this thing sharp! I have a block of cheese that Ive been avoiding using because its so hard and I have nothing that will grate it without an enormous amount of effort. This grater just went right thru it. Looking forward to pasta with fresh grated cheese. Nice secure handle, stainless steel blade. Hand wash only, no dishwasher. Comes with a nice cover for the blade.

This stainless steel fine grater and zester is very long. The grate part is longer than a standard butter knife. This is very well made. It is very durable. The handle is sturdy and fits into my hand with no problem. The cover is excellent for storage. The main feature it does not have that it could have is to take the holds out of the holder so that the holder could be put on the bottom and when you grate herbs then they would be caught in the holder. But for now, you have to grate cheese, herbs or zest citrus in your bowl. This stainless steel fine grater and zester is a must have for all cooks and is an excellent product.

I got this with zesting jn mind, so when he used it to grate parmesan, I was aghast...then surprised, and THEN, really amazed! The parmesan came out PERFECTLY and clean-up is a snap! We just do a quick pre-brush under hot water, then run it though the D/W! Looks brand-spankin' new! And actually ZESTING...it does a fabulous job of that, too! The way the tool is shaped actually contains and guides the shreds where I want them and the protective sheeth keeps fingers from getting grated when the tool is not in use. Well-done Walmart! Well Done!

I cook a lot. I often have a need for finely grated ingredients like parmesan cheese and lemon and lime zest. This makes things far easier than using a large square grater and simpler to maneuver and get ingredients where you need them. The handle has a rubberized grip that doesn't slip out when your hand is wet. It's long enough that you can cover a lot of area on larger fruits or cheeses. Cleans off easily in running water or a swipe of a rag or sponge. It's great for garnishing with shredded chocolate and fudge. Really cool for making cocktails look cool as well. Works great on coconut! The gold color seems a bit much but the color hasn't faded and it isn't painted on so I'm not worried about it getting into my food. Comes with a snap on plastic cover for protection in storage and to prevent unwanted scrapes of your hands. I love this thing!

This is a very well made grater and zester with a stainless steel blade. It both zrsts and grates really well. I used it to zest lemons and limes and to grate cheese and different herbs. I absolutely love it. It comes with a plastic cover. I do recommend being really careful while using it. It is very sharp. I accidentally got my knuckle with it. Just make sure you hand wash it only like it says and don't use any abrasive cleaners or scrubbers, it could damage it. This is a great piece to add to your kitchen utensils!!

This grater is heavy duty and makes grating very easy. The handle is ergonomically made to fit any hand and for easy zesting. The zester has plenty of space due to the length which makes it to zest anything from a Nutmeg to a block of cheese. You can only hand wash it but that's not a problem. It also comes with a cover for easy storage.

I ordered this zester/grater to replace my old, short, stubby zester/grater. This product is very well made. Stainless steel with a non slip, easy to hold soft padded handle. It won't slip out if your hands while grating. The overall length is about 13” including the handle. The grater part is about 8”. The tip of the grater has two rubber stoppers so the grater won't slip on the surface while using it. It also comes with a plastic snap on cover for storage. This keeps your hands safe while searching in the utensil draw for the grater. Very sturdy utensil. I have more control over this grater. Zesting is a breeze as is grating cheese. It washes nicely. I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

This grater was a great addition to my cooking supplies. I was tasked to using knives to make my grating by hand because I lacked this item. I was grateful to receive this for review. I was long slender and classic design for ease of use and storage. It came quipped with a long plastic sleeve for ease of storage as well as safety. Its handle was sleek and stylish, easy to hold and manage for grating. This was the perfect addition to my utensils for my baking and cooking needs. Would make an excellent gift!

So for starters I have always used a box grater, so using this was a bit different. I did find it a bit trickier to use when zesting my lime. I did find the lime kept getting stuck or getting my hand caught because the grates seem fairly deep and and more of a square shape. The grate measures about 11" x 1 1/4". It has a plastic sleeve to protect it. It's easy to take off but more work to put it back on. It is lightweight but feels cheaply made and not durable. I did find that the lime zest clumped together not really giving it a nice look.
