TI-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator

As a teacher, I know the importance of seeing a visual representation of a problem for many students. Having the color graphs, makes that so much easier to see and differentiate between different graphs on the same screen. Having the rechargeable battery eliminates the excuse of not having batteries. Love the TI-84 Plus CE Calculator on so many levels.

I purchased this calculator for my granddaughter who is a freshman in college. She really likes it and says it is a "game changer" in her math courses.

It is a very versatile calculator, with many different functions. You can also install custom programs from the internet,making it extremely helpful for some math problems.

My daughter is liking her calculator! She is in a new school (in Texas) and lost her other one from the floods in Louisiana. I hope we don't have to ever experience that again but, if we dp and I have to buy a new one for her then I will go back to walmart.com and order the same!

Works as described

I have owned quite a few calcs in the past 3 decades (HP's 11C, 15C 42S, 48G G/X, 49, TI 30, 55, 84+, etc. and a lot of others Casio/Sharp, i could go on). This one is by far, the best one for it's category. The color back lit screen is very nice, the battery life is excellent, and the processor is a lot faster than the standard 84's I would say that the previous reviewer that is complaining about the lipo battery really doesn't appreciate what it is doing for him. This battery lasts a long time (i use my calc at least 2 hours / day, and have only charged it once in the past month!!!) and when the battery will eventually fail, just unscrew the battery cover and pop in a new fresh lipo battery that you can find online for less than five bucks!! Of course there are always improvements that can be made for better performance, etc., this calc has exceeded all of my expectations.. if you can be lucky to get it for the sale price of $88 then get two! I did... Love the color choices... i have the denim and the red. very cool... Get this for your 7th grader, so they can use it all though middle & high school. My middle & high school age kids use theirs all the time.

It works great, my son loves the features, he can "do a bunch or cool stuff" with it, every thing he needs to do for class. The color feature is amazing, much more helpful than black and white version!
