Ticket to Ride Strategy Board Game for Ages 8 and up, from Asmodee

My (grown up) kids and I played this game at a friend's house and loved it. We'll be having a family gathering soon, and I ordered Ticket to Ride to bring along as a surprise. I was very pleased with the entire process of ordering and receiving the game. It shipped in a timely manner and was perfectly packaged so that it arrived in pristine condition. I checked the contents immediately, and every piece (and there are many in this game!) was accounted for. I would definitely order from the KryptoniteKollectibles store again.

This game is a family favorite for all ages in our home. The smaller version is great for younger kids, and this original version is our favorite for the entire family to play. Requires strategic thinking and fun!

Great game! Easy to learn. Both challenging and strategic, changing each time you play. We have a game night group get together at least once every month, sometimes more. This game gets chosen quite often. I highly recommend it. You won't regret it.

I played many board games as a kid and most of them came down to luck. You got stuck on one path where dice or a spinner would randomly decide you fate. Ticket to Ride is not one of those games. Players collect cards to claim routes, and longer routes get you more points. I love the fact that it is easy to learn (recommended ages 8+), but players still need to use strategy in order to win the game. You can try to complete routes to make your connected path longer, or you can claim routes that interfere with the routes that your opponents want to claim. Having more players also affects strategy, because you have to try and claim the routes you need as soon as possible. Bottom line, I love this game and recommend it to everyone.

The only drawback to the game is the many small parts, but the railcars need to be small to fit on the board. Three over 20 years old family members had great fun playing it for the first time. Children need to be old enough to understand the rules. Trying to link various rail hubs does require strategic thinking. Not as monotonous as Clue.

This is a fantastic family game. it simple enough for children to understand, yet parents can still be challenged. It isn't a money game or one that requires reading, so even younger children can enjoy it without it becoming tires some. A game can last about 30-45 minutes, so you can play a few games at a setting. This was a gift for our son's 8th Birthday. We played it three times as a family before the kids went to bed an twice with just the adults after. If you enjoy board games this is a must for your collection.

Ordering the game - easy Gift for a family member - he loves it! Pick up - make sure customers know there are 2 Walmarts on Outer Loop. I went to the wrong store first and after waiting for several minutes and getting a confirmation on my phone that I had picked up my package when I definitely had not received it, another worker informed me there was another store on Outer Loop. Once I went there my pickup was super easy and the worker that brought out my package was great!

The quality of the game materials should be better. The game board is flimsy and doesn't lay flat on the table. The game cards are too small. Game tokens feel very cheap. That said, it's good enough and the actual game is great.

I received a game and it looks like a knock off with cheap quality box and internal compartments. Besides that box came in damaged on the corners because of the low quality of material. So this definitely can not be given as a present.

This is a knockoff version on the original, im pretty sure its illegal as its a trademarked game. the box is flimsy and almost seems disposable... im not even going to take it out of its plastic wrap as its going straight back to Walmart. it was a good price and i figured why not get one as a goft for a friend. they conveniently just left the trademark from the UK off the box. please dont support this horrible quality boardgame, it cheapens the experience of the enjoyment
