Ticonderoga presharpened pencils are the best pencils you can buy! The lead is in the center on the wood cylinder. Once they are sharpened, the point lasts for a long time. I'm willing to pay the extra price because they are quality made and so durable.

these are the best pencils. they don't go to the sharpeners all day long, the lead is strong and erasers barely wear out. they pricey but got the on sale over half ofg,! hurray. well done

Our school "requires" us to buy these, but they really are great, sturdy, the lead is dark and the erasers never harxen loke some of the cheaper pencils.

I have bought unsharpened Ticonderoga pencils for years. First time buying the pre sharpened. Very disappointed in the pre sharpened end. The tip was barely sharpened. I had to re sharpen each one. The pencils themselves are excellent.
