The liquid is clear so no extra color for the sake of color and the lack of fragrance doesnt affect the clothes and bedding still smelling clean.

My clothes come out so clean and fresh. No perfumes or dyes. I highly recommend this detergent.

I have used tide for years in my house, but appreciated the opportunity to try the free and gentle version. I have eczema, sensitive skin, and require an effective detergent for my workout and camping clothes. This product worked well for my needs. It made me feel better to use a product that made me feel like it had less chemicals. It did a good job cleaning my clothes, didn't leave any weird residue on my clothes post wash or make my skin feel irritated. This bottle was a convenient smaller size, that would work for multiple loads, and is easy to carry. This would be a perfect size for someone who has to walk to a laundry facility. Although I do occasionally use scent beads in certain loads, I like the fact that there was no scent at all from the detergent. It also did not get gummy in the dispenser, as some detergents often do. This was definitely a good experience.

As soon as I opened it up, the smell hit me. The smell wasn't unpleasant but it wasn't pleasant either. It reminded me of alcohol. The soap works about just the same as any old regular free and gentle laundry detergent. In my opinion, I would stick getting another brand because they work the same, except other brands don't smell like this. Looking at the ingredients, they use alcohol as a solvent, which means it's the thing that the other things are dissolved it. It really does make it smell like alcohol. Stick to another brand that does the same thing without the smell.
