This anchor not only is a great deal, and is the most bang for the buck! And economical. It has never let me down! it has kept my boat from drifting in high wind and curent with my boat weighing about 10,000 lbs I highly recomend this anchor 25#

The 18 lb. Super Hooker #18 does an excellent job on my 25 foot pontoon boat. The anchor did not budge and held with no problems in approx. 15-25 mph winds. I am also using 6' of chain with the anchor, which helps it lay flat on the bottom. I was considering a smaller (lighter) anchor, but am glad I went with this one. I have not heard anyone ever complain about to big of an anchor, but I have heard many people regret an anchor that is to small, and doesn't hold in windy situations.

The anchor was purchased because it looked like it would hold well in the sandy bottom of the river we have our boat in. It has not disappointed me and it has held well, even in windy weather.

This product was exactly what we were looking for, for less cost than we found anywhere else. Even the chain was less expensive than purchasing chain by the link from a home improvement store. Have only used it once, but it worked fine - just as expected.

Excellent anchor use with a 26 foot boat. I purchased the 14 lb anchor. Make sure you get the chain a six foot would be best. Chain helps set the anchor. Works great in sandy or muddy bottoms. ANchor shown in photos is an 8 lb anchor and worked great on a 18 foot boat.

Use this with our 25 ft pontoon on a man made lake with a variable bottom from mud to heavy vegetation. It held GREAT...even on a moderately windy day. Love that it is light weight but does the job!
