Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer 8.5"

Love almost all of Tim Holtz products and this one is no exception. Well made, cuts smooth, and has clear markings on the deck. Absolutely love this product. Am currently looking at different sizes available. Will probably purchase at least 2 more, one larger for sure, possibly one smaller.

This was an incredibly fabulous price. (I got it for less than $20.) It cuts like a dream. I've had several paper cutters of different styles and I really like this one. One of the great things is that I can cut a full sheet of paper in half if I put it landscape style. As far as the seller goes, the first one that I ordered came without the finger guard and the blade kept crumpling the top of the paper. The exchange process was extremely smooth and they delivered quickly.

Tim Holtz is a great quality brand some what reasonable on the price

I have the large 12" Tonic cutter and have been using it for about 10 years. I bought this smaller version for travel and for a smaller work space at home. It's perfect for card making and cutting smaller items. I like that the ruler at the top goes up to 6 inches. I also like the price at Walmart. It was about $5 cheaper than all the other online stores.

I ready many mixed reviews so I wasn't sure what to expect. I've used it for a few months now and can say, this is a great trimmer. I have no trouble getting straight cuts.

I am very impressed with this paper guillotine! I had the WeRMemory Keepers of similar size, but it didn't have a locking notch like Tonic's to stabilize the arm so this one is much safer. As well, for card makers like me, it has the A2 measurements notated on the base - very cool feature!

This cutter slices well, does pull on the paper some and the paper needs to be held on to so it doesn't slip. I found the plastic guard to be just in the way so removed it. It is a small trimmer so with 11 and 12 inch lengths I have to cut one way and then turn the paper the other way so I can finish the cut. But it is lightweight and the smaller size is easier to store.

I did not care for it at all!!! It felt flimsy and cheap!!! I was surprised that Tim Holtz would put out such a piece of garbage. The plastic should be thicker so it wouldn't at least feel so cheap. The blade was dull as well so I will be returning it ASAP.

I was hoping for a small trimmer to use away from my craft room. I do have a large guillotine trimmer and was expecting it to cut more like it does. Tim's cuts well if you press on the paper guard at the same time. Or you will get crooked cuts every time. So a little learning curve.
