Bought this for my 86 year old mother. Although noted as a“Men's” watch, it looks suitable for either male or female to use. It is definitely not an heirloom quality watch, but it suits her needs. Easy to read white face with larger numerals, easy to put on/ take off and gold color to match her jewelry. It was initially too tight on her normal sized wrist (she prefers a looser fit), so I threaded a shortened plastic “zip tie” through a couple of links to hold the band open… this watch overall was a good purchase for her. The only feature that was not awesome is the “date” on the face is too small… it would have been better to have that enlarged, as well in relation to the large numerals.
Because I have the exact same watch and have used this same watch for a long time. I'm a retired coal miner. This watch was worn under ground, in the shower, I wore this watch 24 hours a day.
I PURCHASED THE WATCH FOR MY HUSBAND. HE ALWAYS WEARS A TIMEX WATCH. I HAVE PURCHASED OTHER WATCHES FOR HIM BUT HE WON'T WEAR THEM. GOES RIGHT BACK TO THE BASICALLY SAME WATCH AND THEY ALL LAT FOR A LONG TIME!
My husband absolutely loves his new Timex, the light is nice, he can see the time, and it looks classy too! The band is a perfect fit, we measured his wrist prior to the purchase.
Haven't been able to wear yet. I need to have many links removed. It like the same one I bought from Walmart long ago. I loved it and I know the links removed as you did it before when I was in store. I did notice one thing the knob to pull out to set time is smaller than the last one I used to have. I had same watch 10 years. That's a Timex. Very good.
This was a gift for my 91 yr. old Father. He can see the numbers clearly and even use the indiglo light at night. He is really happy with this watch. We do have to take it to a Jeweler to have the band shortened for an additional cost, but since the watch was such a great value it's not a problem. If you don't need a designer watch, Timex is the best.
I ordered this watch because it has large numbers, and a lighted background and that makes it easy to see with my 72 year old eyes. It is exactly as advertised. Having unusually large wrist, I had to change out the band, but I expected that I would have to do that, as I have never found an inexpensive watch with a band that fits me right out of the box. Anyway, it seems like a very good watch for the money and I am well satisfied.
I bought this watch for my 91 year old father because of the large face and easy reading and the expansion band. He really likes it. He likes the fact that it lights up. It is a very good looking watch with the two tone colors. The price was great too.
I did not receive this item….first of all it's in a mail box. Not front door….. next not my mailbox…. They aren't allowed to put packages in the mailbox if it didn't come in the mail….
The watch broke, so we took it back to Walmart on Hwy 280 in Birmingham, AL on 5 Feb 2025. The person working at the customer "service" desk was unhelpful, indifferent, and unkind, resulting in an unnecessarily difficult and very negative transaction. The steady decline of Walmart is sad to witness, and worse to experience.
