I had another dehydrator for 20 years, used it pretty regularly. This is compact and runs vet quietly, I like that I can set the run time %26 temperature. Have already started my Vadalia onions that are only in season in the spring. Love it so far !

I was so skeptical because the first time I did it completely wrong! This time I took the time I laid out everything correctly and this thing freaking delivered. Now, I did have to rotate the top tray to the bottom… but that was IT! 👏🏾 Don't let the dollar amount throw you off this we'll get the job done. It may take longer, but it will get it done. ❤️

i cannot find anything wrong with it. i initially bought a 5 tray one from amazon and saw this one a day later and bought it. i do not regret my decision. i have since dehydrated herbs and fuits. my mangoes were better than store bought. It does what it is supposed to. you can add and remove trays depending the quantify of what you are dehydrating. it is bigger than most hydrators.

I'm enjoying using it. I've never had a dehydrator. It works well. I bought it to make homemade dog treats, but I'm also experimenting with fruits as well. Who knows what else I will try next? I like that it has so many trays.

It very useful, I got it to replace an expensive large one I have. It works very well, kind loud, the trays are pretty small, but easy to clean. I guess it is good starter dehydrator. I have used it a few times even though I had my big dehydrator repaired. For smaller home use it is very good, but for large scale home garden use, it is still good, just not vey big, and the trays are less than an inch deep. It is a very good unit, but as I said, very loud, mainly from vibration, so if it can be set on a towel, and a weight on top, it is really pretty good

The trays are easy to clean. Bottom is not as easy. Small, Medium or larger batches can be done. You have to remember which way they go on or you have to redo them all. Okay for beginners with a little patience and read directions. Has done a great job so far. Just base cleaning, can be difficult if you dont read directions to start.

It's just too small. The donut hole for the fan's circulation cuts way down on the usable surface area. And we can't put small ingredients, like corn, on parchment paper because it would block airflow. I don't think it could do fruit leathers. The instructions are not helpful at all. Even though they're more expensive, I should've gone with my gut and gotten one with a fan on the back wall. However, if you really do want an inexpensive one and don't need a lot of capacity, this is pretty darn good and good value. Btw, it's not noisy or wobbly if you have the trays stacked properly. Do not flip them upside down to change space between. Instead, rotate them horizontally 180 degrees.

It Doesn't have a way to shut the vents off while it cools down to keep bugs dust or whatever out like my old one has. I wish I'd of known this in advance cuz I'd of made a different purchase. I've used it to do bananas mushrooms apples and blueberries and gnats love to hangout around fruits and vegetables if they aren't put in an air tight container is my main reason for wanting the vents to close. I'm just not happy thinking of flies and gnats crawling on my banana chips. The FIRST photo (black rectangular lid) is of this dehydrator with vents all around the lid and the SECOND photo is my old dehydrator (round see through lid) with a closing vent.

I like this dehydrator and I want to love it but it's just meh. It takes days to dry herbs and multiple shifting of trays. I can't imagine how long it'll take for fruit. But it works. It just works extremely slowly

It is too small, the trays are too small, It doesn't dehydrated rights some of the fruit are practically burnt, and other doesn't dry or dehydrated right . expend too much energy for nothing
