I always keep canned tuna around and most of them are pretty decent, but this one just hits a little different. The texture was super firm and the flavor was clean and not overly salty or fishy like some can be. It just felt a little more put together. Definitely one I'd grab again.
Tonnino Tuna premium in spring water has a nice high quality taste, texture and look to it. I love tuna and buy it regularly and I can taste the different between this tuna and other tunas. If you are a tuna lover I would highly recommend this brand if you want a higher quality product. It is a little more costly than other brands but you can tell the difference in higher quality texture and taste.
I have actually done tests with my friends cats with various brands and textures of tuna. I love cats and the most important part of their day seems to be when they eat. I tried absolutely every brand and this is the one they went back to time and time again. It is a little more costly but you can just use a little water mixed in and of course they deserve the very best and I believe that's what this is in this category.
The product was very yummy, I thought it was a little more sweet to me than other time. My cats and dog got to even enjoy it and seemed to love it. Nice healthy fish to easily assemble or eat right out of the can. Canned tuna is more of my favorite because I like to add all the seasonings to it. I don't have much complaints.
I'm a really picky person when it comes to fish, especially tuna. Tonnino did not disappoint! Quality yellowfin tuna in spring water that is wild caught, dolphin safe, gluten free and low mercury! Top of the line and you can taste the difference. The price was very similar to other brands that aren't as good, in my opinion.
I usually buy only Wild Planet tuna because it comes as a big chunk of tuna with a little water. But as food prices rise, I looked for a more affordable alternative. I tried this tuna and found it acceptable as far as water to tuna ratio goes, and taste and texture are excellent. There's still too much water but it's two times better than the well-known national brands. It's actually a great value.
This tuna was much more flavorful than our regular brand - very distinct and non-fishy. It's not quite as solid as what I'm used to, but the taste made up for it. The water content was also a little higher than I am accustomed to, but again, I enjoyed the flavor and would overlook these issues. It's all about the taste!
purchased for picky eater kitties to entice them to eat (low sodium, chunk has lower mercury than albecore solid filet. ) They ate, but were slightly less excited about ît --didn't seem to like quite as much as "regular" low sodium chunk light tuna. was also a bit more expensive. I liked it fine like yellowfin.
The Yellowfish Tuna I tried had a very fishy and overpowering fish taste to it. Texture was really super chewy almost had a bounce to it reminded me of the experience felt like I was eating chewey gummy candy. The flavor wasn't bad just was really fishy and again was very chewey to eat so had to chew it very throughly.
I ordered the canned version of Tonnino premium Yellowfin Tuna chunks in spring water 4.94 oz. because it was the right amount to eat in one setting, the tuna was in spring water instead of olive oil and the price was very reasonable. Walmart delivered very quickly. However the tuna was not in chunks like in the glass jars but was in lots of small watery pieces that was difficult to gather together to eat as one piece. So it didn't taste like tuna and I won't be ordering the tuna in cans again. I do not recommend!
