Never add any type of sugar.If not enough liquid add more water, or take lid off if too much, it will simmer down.What you dont eat, put in fridge.

I actually try to eat bitter melon when I can, but sometimes it is hard to find (Asian markets are your best bet) and eating the melon, well... It's called bitter melon for a very good reason. It does take some getting used to! Taking it in pill form is so much easier and convenient and bypasses the bitter taste. It is easy to swallow and has no aftertaste.

I've only been taking it a couple of weeks, so it's hard to tell if it's making a difference yet. Time will tell once I have more blood work done to check my A1C level. The pills are easy to swallow, but a bit unpleasant to taste. You learn not to keep them on your tongue long. Overall, I do feel better since I began taking them.
