The device works as advertised and is simple to use. First thing I did was test it on my gas stove to confirm it worked. A friend called last month telling me they were worried they had a gas leak. It was so great having this on hand where I could drive over to their house and check it out myself. All is safe and I'm very glad I have this for use when the need arises.

I used this when I refurbished my weber gas grill and replaced the gas stove's hose to make sure I had replaced everything well. The device was well packaged and the instructions were good. Don't forget to allow it to startup for 30 seconds in a "gas free" space

Very nice sense of security having this. We have gas logs and some emergency propane heaters. I use this to check all connections!

limited use so far but seems to do what it is supposed to do. i have tested it on actual gas leak and the leak was detected.

I could smell a whiff of gas once in a while from our range. I tried soapy water but couldn't see any bubbles because the leak was so small. This leak detector pin pointed the leak quickly.

it was able to detect the leak with in a minutes time. very accurate.

Detects natural gas and propane real well. Directions are unclear about selecting sensitivity. I was hoping it could detect methane in sewer gas, but it doesn't.

I liked the simplicity but noticed when a propane leak it detected the alarm notification is not instantaneous

This product was given as a gift and the recipient is happy with it. Set up was apparently easy for the recipient and worked when tested in a controlled situation, not a suspected leak. This review is from a Walmart associate.
