There's very few things that I prefer name brand, but this one of them. This is my ultimate favorite salsa. i do not like chunky anything in my salsa, and i love the texture, flavor, and consistency of this salsa. This is the same reason many do not like this one, however. It is quite watery, which is what i love about it. It's the most like what you get in an actual restaurant. The flavors are also well blended. it has some heat, but not so much that's it's overpowering. Yet it is enough heat and flavor to keep it from tasting like juice tomatoes. It works well with tacos or on chips as a dip. plus it combines well with cheese to make a creamier dip

Best salsa compared to what you get at restaurant
My husband has recently decided he likes salsa (from the restaurant) lol and this one of 3 he has tried, is the best. i did get him 2 more to try. i know of the ones we have tried, other than I'd prefer it to be not as spicy, this is my favorite regular salsa too.

This is my go to salsa. I put it on everything. eggs, salad, tacos, pizza. You can mix it with cheese to make a great queso. The best salsa.

awful packaging
I ordered 4 jars of salsa online because no one is carrying this type of salsa anymore and they put all 4 glass jars in a Ziploc baggy and a few newspapers in the box and sent it one jar opened up and salsa was everywhere and the post office had to put it outside because the box was soggy. Luckily the other three were not open and no glass was broken however I will march back to Walmart and return the opened one in the soggy box!!!

I don't like the consistency of this salsa. It is just tiny pieces of onion, pepper and tomato swimming in juice. It isn't satisfying. I ended up pouring it into chili to get rid of it.

Disappointingly Watery
I've been on the hunt for a quality store-bought restaurant-style salsa for quite some time, and I had high hopes for Tostitos Restaurant Style Salsa (medium). However, upon receiving the jar with my Walmart grocery order today, I found myself disappointed. As many other reviewers have noted, there's an excessive amount of water added to this salsa, which overwhelms the flavors and makes it disappointingly bland. Sadly, I won't be purchasing this again
