I got AI to print out instructions for me to configure this switch so I could connect 2 computers to one Wi-Fi and use both computers simultaneously. Worked beautifully and after almost a month, I've had no issues.

Need ethernet ports for your new WiFi router?

Bill October 27, 2025

My new WiFi 7 Mesh router came without extra ethernet ports to plug in my smart TV and other associated video devices. This little gem did the trick! Easy to set up and the cost was just right.

Simple Ethernet switch

John November 28, 2024

This is a simple Ethernet switch. It is NOT battery powered although the review asked to rate it! I have several like it and I have never had a problem.

No fuss easy to use box

Steve September 2, 2024

Works great. You just plug it in add a network source and boom you can connect other cat6 cables to it. I was using an old router for this but ran out of outputs.

Plug and play.

cliffgi June 11, 2016

Just a dumb switch. Plug-and-play. Not much to say except that I use it to extend the number of hardwire ports on my home router. Most residential routers have 2 or 4 ports available, if any (wifi routers sometimes have none). Anyway, a simple "loopback" wired cat5 connected between any user port on my router port and any port on this switch gives me an additional 4 hardware ports I can use.

Does what it's supposed to do.

There's not much you can say about a five-port unmanaged gigabit Ethernet switch. I bought it to add a few extra Ethernet ports to my network closet on the cheap. It works as it should, the only setup it required was plugging it in and plugging it into the network. Build quality seems good, and contents of the box are about what you would expect (the switch itself, the power adapter, and some rubber feet to stick to the bottom of it). So far the little bit of stuff I have connected to it is working fine, no drops or anything. Worth the money if all you need is a few extra gigabit ports at one end of your network.
