Wired connections give the best performance, gaming and streaming is what I do, with Wi-Fi I always had lost connections and performance issues, I switched my gaming pc and Xbox from Wi-Fi to wired and it was the best decision ever, performance has dramatically improved and haven't had issues yet

Very good product , save your money and buy this onn cable. I just wanted to let everyone know that this lan cable will work if you are hard wiring your tv lan connection to your cable router. I was amazed after connecting my hiscense u6 to my tv and router. I was getting constant buffering with my Xfinity wifi even with the 200 gig plan. This onn cable was a life saver I no longer have buffering and I think my overall picture quality is better. Don't worry your tv will self detect the cable . But I went into my settings and turned my wifi off. For 5 dollars it's a steal I definitely will be buying more onn items in the future. The quality and value are great

It is an ethernet cable. It doesn't need to be fancy because preferably you're going to hide it anyways and it fits that role well. Great speeds, from my router I'm getting over 700Mbps and that is mostly router related. It is durable. trust me my daughter has tested that. Overall great chord and you can't beat that price for it.

This is being used to hardwire an Xbox in another room to the modem. The signal/connection is great and internet speeds are perfect. Luckily this cable comes in multiple lengths and is perfect. Now we do not have excess cable out and it fits perfectly where we need it.

Had an old cat 5 cable running from my router to my internet supply modem. I had no end of trouble with slow speeds. Put this on and the speed improved and the lag was nearly gone. With more length I am even thinking of putting the router up higher to improve signal.

I'm the first one to say I love onn brand. this ethernet worked amazing for the first couple days. I don't know it just started to have issues I would be able to manipulate the court itself while plugged into my modem and my console and it would cause the ethernet connected alert to pop up on my gaming system which is just odd it's not falling out of either port or anything like that but it's something to do with the internal part of the cable I'm assuming

We ordered three of these and basically as soon as we plugged them in, the wire cover separated from the plug so the wires are exposed. And, we're experiencing connectivity issues but I can't return them because I am just 2 weeks after the return window (although I didn't get a chance to hook them up until this week...argh!)
