just got this til we can get a rug for baby to play on, makes cleaning up drool and spit up much easier, they are just thin foam, so a bit flimsy, baby could easily tear them up if he got ahold of the edges. not all the edge pieces fit perfectly, but the numbers and alphabet pieces lock together nicely. if baby doesn't destroy them, they can be used to help with learning later on.

Does the job
Very firm. Vibrant colors. But the color placements are random, which is bad if you have OCD. Haha. For example I have 3 dark blue tiles, all at the end of the alphabet but soooo many light blue tiles, and they're close to each other. These are perfect on our floor for our baby to roll around and play on. I do wish there were more boarder peices. Because of the layout of our room, I made an irregular shape rather than a square or rectangle, leaving a couple tiles without a boarder.

You dont get the same colors in this picture
The color does not match the picture, i bought twice hoping to get the picture color and each time i got colors more fitting for a girls room. However they have a nice cusion and if they had a 2 color option it would be better so beware if you want the color shown you may not get it

It's a great mat for the kids. Unfortunately, I got two sets of E and F. One of those were suppose to be G and H.
