VTech Sort & Discover Drum with Accessories, Baby and Toddler Toys

Got this for my 8 month old granddaughter. Shapes are bright in color, easy for little hands to pick up. It tells the shape as the shape goes through. Wish it had more than just 5 shapes but, for first shape sorter. I am pleased with it. She gets engaged when playing with this toy. It is teaching toy.

Our speech therapist used this as one of the toys in the clinic for my nonverbal 5 yr old as she's learning to use her speech device. She points to the pic of the drum on the device, then gets the actual drum to play with, since she chose it. So I bought one for home as well. It's a great toy and learning device.

I love these simple toys. Children can play with them for hours and hours without realizing how much they are learning. These are truly generational toys. My son had a similar toy and now my grandson has one. I'm so happy when I see toys that I had as a child myself.

I bought this for my little cousin and she loves it and she is now walking with %26 without it. She also likes the buttons on the front and the sound that it makes while she walk so this is her favorite toy.

My toddler loves this set, and it's helping her learn to put things into containers (not just take them out). Even without sound, she likes the different shapes and colors.

The package box was ripped and it cam in just a small plastic shopping bag so the contents were clearly visible at my side door for anyone to see. Could it have been a bigger bag and tied or stapled shut?

My child loves the blocks and putting them in the shapes in their places but not much else. The music gets annoying after awhile. The “drum” function isn't that enticing. It's kinda hard to use as a drum when there's shape cutouts where you slap your hand down. I'm also not sure why the bottom yellow part has tiny shape cut outs? It would've been cheaper to just buy a regular shape sorter, no frills.

The toy itself is good, my 10 month old likes playing with the blocks. Although he likes to put everything to his mouth, so he ended up chewing the top sticker on the blocks. I had to peel all the stickers off with soap and water so he didn't eat the sticker remnants. Be mindful of this if you have a baby who chews things!

Was to be delivered on December 10, and never showed up. And it does not give me any new update information on its delivery. Just says delayed shipping, trailer arrived at hub @ 4:44 on the 9th. Today's the 12th and still no product or update information on its arrival

10/10 do not recommend for teething babies that put everything in their mouths. I purchased this for my 10 month old and quickly found out that the top of the blocks are paper stickers.
