I bought this to sit in line waiting to get into a store to shop. I cannot stand for any lenght of time I wanted black, which was not available, but this one will be harder to overlook when I am using it in a store. The stool is sturdy and stable, yet light enough to move around easily. for me (five foot five) it is the perfect height to sit and stand easily. and, it doubles for my walking stick when I am getting to the store. Folded, it easily fits into a full size shopping cart. and, if I get tired walking around the store, I can always sit a rest for a minute. This is the second one I bought. I use the other one in the kitchen, where I can sit for a bit while I am cooking.
I originally bought one of these to replace a fancy counter height stool that went kaput. This was simply going to b a holdover until I found a fancy (aka expensive) new stool. A funny thing happened...I decided that I was very happy with this stool...so much so that I bought a second one. It is comfortable, sturdy, and its minimalist style works with my decor.
I would recommend it to all of my senior friends who still cook
love it.. easy assemble
Nothing was wrong except it couldnt be be used for the purpose intended. I printed out return label and cleared pickup for return for April 27th with FedEX. They replied they would pick up that day between 9 am and 4 pm. They never showed up. No call as to why and it is still in box in my living room!
If you're expecting a 500 word opus about a stool, look elsewhere. It's comfortable. It does what it is supposed to do. That's all.
I live in a small apartment and recently set up a vanity area in my bedroom. I needed a small stool that wouldn’t take up space and this was exactly what I needed! The fact that it stores flat is also a bonus as I can fold it up and set it aside and free up even more space!
Bro in law, niece, nephew loves the stool.
Very cool! Unable to feel safe using my stove-top from my wheelchair, I can now pop up on the sturdy stool and make a grilled-cheese sandwich or scramble an egg. Have already used it as an extra seat on my small patio and at my tall arts and craft table. The only real drawback I find is the stool gets uncomfortable after a while and cuts into my thighs, so need to purchase a nice cover for it, but will hate to hide the nice peppy red color! Also, would love some sort of footrest, but for the price, it's a winner. So easy to fold. So, plan to order a couple of more, one to gift my dorm-sage niece for her small room. Glad I ran across this stool.
I bought this stool to sit while prepping veggies in the kitchen. it will eventually work well. the height is right and the sit dimensions is good and it is sturdy and supports my weight. The only negative is that I could barely open it to a stool when it arrived and now I just cannot fold it back "at all" as it is so stiff and beyond my strength. i will have to wait for my son to fix that so I can store it when not in use, as I had planned.
