Since receiving this antenna, it's the only one I use. Works well with any citizen band radio.

Great Antenna
This antenna has to be the best bang for your buck! I increased my range up to a little over 5.5 miles with this without any tuning. The 5" magnet is very strong, almost too strong. The amount of cable was perfect for me and I was able to run it in a way it is practically invisible. I may look into a spring for this just for when I am off-road, but for normal road driving, as-is works perfectly fine. I do hear a little whistle at speeds over 45 mph, but for how well it works, I think it is a fair compromise. Over-all: Great Buy and Great Price! Do not second guess yourself with the 3-star review, that is under-descriptive.

Excellent antenna
This antenna has a very strong magnetic mount. We now have several of these antennas in service. Receive and transmit characteristics are excellent. Solid value for the price.

this antenna rocks for the price!
works very well and better with amp. I recommend using pliers to tighten antenna once screwed into the magnet

A good antenna for around town - but not for open road---I would get a better one if I when this breaks.
