These were incredibly easy to install especially compared to a new dead bolt. I installed them on a door with glass panels; the kind of door that's easily unlocked by smashing a single pane and reaching through to the door knob. I installed both locks on the door. One high and one low and out of reach from the glass panels.

I wasn't really expecting much when seeing it on the website but when it arrived I was impressed. I installed 2 in just a few minutes and they work amazingly well. I then went outside to the front door and actually tested it. I rammed into it with my shoulder to see if it would hold up and it never budged. I went back inside, checked the bracket and screws and to see if there was any movement in the install and there was no sign of any damage at all. I had some 4” long screws that I used instead of the ones that came with it, just to get additional strength into both 2x4's that are behind the frame around the door jam. I'm not a little guy @ 6'4”, 240lbs, 48 jacket, 34” waist. I'm going to be installing these on family members doors and whoever else around me wants them. Price is more than reasonable. I highly recommend this.

they are a little stiff like they could use some grease but I think that is the spring mechanism. these are a life saver from my 2 yr old. we have one on the panty (because he likes to reorganize it and throw spices), and another on his closet door so we can control how many toys are in the floor at one time.

Easy to install and it works great. . The childproof design gives peace of mind since kids cannot open the door easily. Perfect additional security for home and child care safety. Highly recommended for families looking for simple and effective door reinforcement.

Its perfect for my metal doors. i was able to drill into the door jam (not the door) and it does as it's supposed to. Prevents an unlocked door from being opened by children/seniors. I didn't give it 5 stars because the instructions were a little confusing. made it look like the piece was supposed to be drilled into the door itself and didn't explain how to "unlock" %26 "lock" the item, but I figured it out. push forward and out to unlock the device.
