I've bought some before and had some issues with can damage and missing items but the Ackee is always good and I believe that this is the best one in the can that I have bought it is way better than others ….only fresh Ackee is Better my opinion thank you for a great Product
Ackee pegs maintained a firm, fresh quality; they were not mushy as is sometimes the case with canned ackee. They were perfect when combined with the salt fish, onions and other seasonings.
Product was delivered without packaging and was not the correct amount
The ackees were out of the can very soft and "mushy," mostly like a puree. Very few pieces were recognizable as ackee fruit. I have purchased other brands before and they were firmer, with individual pieces of fruit visible, and eaier to drain. The flavor was however good despite it's appearance. I will buy Grace ackess instead next time
great product, and as a jamaican its the closest thing to the fresh ones i used to pick back in Jamaica. ackee, bananas, yams and dumplings ohhhh yeahhh!!!
The portion size is the regular serving as the others that are over priced. The taste is satisfying. The price is well worth it in this economy.
This is the lowest price I have seen so far and I keep coming back for more, if you are Caribbean this is a good choice Ackee to buy.
item arrived with dents all over in the can, more than five different places dented in can..this compromise the safety of eating the product..I'm afraid of getting an allergic reaction from eating the ackee from the dented can
I was really happy that I was able to purchase these from Walmart. They're pretty firm and not mushy. It is hard to find these consistently in the Caribbean in Spanish stores, so it is a great convenience being able to buy these in bulk here.
you get the ackee and not broken pieces. The price changed from this retailer was a huge jump and I will not be buying again. I got is at a good price. Jamaica is on a 10Percentage tariff increase I get it. But the price jump does not equate this.
