This doesn't feel like I thought a shave oil would. It is thicker and sticks to your skin better than I thought it would. It has a very strong, pleasant vanilla scent that lasts for a good amount of time. It makes the razor glide nicely across your skin as well

First off, this was my first time trying a shave gel of any kind so the only comparison I have is to shaving cream or a shave butter. The gel is more equivalent to a butter but way more moisturizing in my opinion. The smell is amazing for one and for two, I got an extremely close shave with this! I had no issues with my razor getting clogged up fast like it does with shaving cream. Bonus: I rubbed some of this on my extremely cracked knuckles from being in water all the time and it made them feel a lot better!

I have used non foaming shaving cream in the past but never a shaving oil. It goes on a little thick, like of like baby oil gel texture. I love the smell if vanilla, so the vanilla bean smell is amazing to me. The shaving oil did a great job of spreading out evenly and providing a clean yet protected shave. I had no issues with razor burn or irritation afterwards. Overall I think this is a great shaving oil and out buy myself.

I had never used a shave oil before I was sent this was to try. I was happily surprised! The scent is lovely, but not overpowering, and the moisturizing oil didn't irritate my skin at all. My razor glided smoothly over it, and my legs felt softer after just one use.

The Tree Hut Tahitian Vanilla Bean Shave Oil is a must try! The oil has the best consistency for use in the shower...not too thin or runny, but also not too thick. My razor glides so easily and I get a clean swipe in just one pass. Let's talk about the scent!!!! I am usually not a fan of Vanilla scents, but this vanilla bean smells AMAZING! I really do honestly like it and it lasts for a while! I am going to be honest...I used the oil while doing a pedicure on myself to help soften my skin on the bottom of my feet to scrub the dead skin. Try it, I promise that you will not be disappointed! Tree Hut understood the assignment with this shave oil! This will become a staple for my hygiene regimen.

I have never heard or have used this brand before so of coarse I'm a little skeptical on how well it will do. I was pleasantly surprised on how much I liked the smell and my husband did too. It went on really nicely and only had to use a small amount for it to go along way. The one thing I really liked is that it seemed to make shaving a lot faster. I'm not sure if it's the glide of the oil or just something in the product but it almost cut the time in half with very little cuts. I haven't had any shave bumps since using it and have enjoyed trying it out. I would recommend to others.

This stuff is amazing. First off the smell is so nice. Not too strong. The oil pumps easily and it doesn't take more than two pumps for the lower leg. I like to exfoliate first, then apply the Tree Hut oil. It gives me such a smooth close shave with no razor burn, no bumps, and no irritation! I love this stuff!

This shave oil does the job and smells absolutely amazing. It requires little to no preparation for the product to work, and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. My only complaint is that your skin will feel a little oily, which I did not like. Also the product felt thin

Super smooth shave with only a small amount of this oil. I don't know if I'd replace my regular shaving cream with it, but it was nice to try! The only thing I'd change is the scent, because the Tahitian Vanilla Bean scent was a little too musky for me.

I found this shaving oil to be better than I expected but only by a small margin. The shaving oil itself dried out quickly so it was hard to see if your skin was moisturized, which meant I ended up applying extra. Even then I still ended up getting some cuts. As for the dispenser, the thought was nice but mine did not work even after several pumps I ended up with a drop smaller than a dime.
