I have always had a difficult time getting fingernail clippers to comfortably clip my small finger and toenails, especially my ring finger which is very rounded and "dainty" compared to my other nails. I would always have friends ask me why I left my ring finger longer than my other nails and it was actually painful when my mom would clip my nails as a kid--I would always brace myself when she got to my ring nail. These clippers are smaller than the others I have used in my life and so they fit into my ring fingernail area with ease and comfortability. For the first time in my life, I am able to cut my ring fingernail the same length as all my other nails without wincing and pain. As a busy woman, always doing manual chores, I like to keep my nails short and these clippers finally do the trick. I find that Trim brand is one of the best grooming utensil brands you can buy and are always good quality. However, the price I paid from this particular company was outrageously inexpensive and they had free shipping to boot! I was so happy with the first pair I purchased, that I ended up purchasing two more pairs just in case one ever breaks and so I can now have a pair in the camper, downstairs bathroom, and upstairs bathroom. And I'm thinking of buying more for my purse and linen closet! I never want to be without these clippers and I think with multiple pairs, they might just last me the rest of my life. The price is unbeatable and I have no idea why this company offers them so cheap with free shipping, but I definitely took advantage of the pricing and HIGHLY recommend these and the shipper to anyone. (I have ordered from this company before, just not nail clippers, and was happy with my previous two purchases of foot files from them too). I am a full grown woman with small hands and nails so these would also be great for children and teens and I also think they would be good for a man's big nails. A man may have to cut his nail in separate pieces at a time, but that makes no difference and I believe it will allow them to cut a more accurate and shorter cut like they do for me. That's how I cut my nails, anyhow. It may sound crazy to be so happy and excited about fingernail clippers of all things, but like I said, my ring nail and even my toe nails have been an embarrassing issue for me where people have even pointed it out asking why I keep certain nails long. It has always been especially frustrating because I am very good about always keeping my nails groomed so to be called out by people for appearing like I don't groom correctly my entire 39 years of life has been hurtful to my self-confidence. In conclusion, I would not hesitate to recommend these clippers and to buy multiple sets of them for the house, the car, all the bathrooms, purse, office, the vacation home, camper, etc.
These are my go-to brand because they still come with the little scraper. Been using Trim clippers for years. I bought 2 pairs online because I couldn't even find a spot for them in the store. EVERY other brand doesn't have the under nail scraper thing and that's a deal breaker for me.
Nice and sharp, not mush to tear nail
I never thought I'd be writing a review about nail clippers but I was pretty impressed with these! They are so well made, sturdy, cutting blade is sharp. The best I've ever owned!
Much nicer product than the clippers sold in Walmart stores. Dont waste your money on the other brands. Buy the Trim brand even if it means having to order them and pay a little more. Youll be much happier.
These are the best clippers I've found in the last 20 years of searching. They are sharp and don't leave my nails ragged or ripped like past clippers have. They cut fully through the fingernails as intended.
Sturdy I bought this because it comes with the built in nail file that also cleans out my nails on the run and after a messy whatever :)
Works reasonably well, but probably designed for a woman's hand. I would have preferred something a bit more robust.
Does what it's supposed to do
These are the worst I've ever used. Not sharp enough to trim dry nails without a struggle. Don't waste your $$ and get another brand even if you have to pay a little more. These aren't worth the trouble of returning so I'm out even more cash by having to order a better one.
