As a person suffering from diabetes I am always looking for sweetener options which are tasty and cost friendly. I have been using Truvia Baking Sugar for several years. It was recommended in one of my diabetes informational websites. I have never been disappointed with its natural “sugar” flavor. Because it's concentrated so you use less in your baking than “real sugar”. Over the years the price has gone up but Walmart is still the least expensive price for this quality item. I strongly recommend this product for its taste and quality for the money.
I have not used it for anything other than cereal and smoothies. I have not used it for baking. But it tastes great and I have noticed nothing harmful at all, no side effects. And you get a lot for your money. I was so shocked at how much I got for this price. This will likely last me a year, which is a tremendous value. Highly recommended.
My husband loves this. It doesn't have the aftertaste the regular Truvia has and it gives the right amount of sweetness. He even uses less than the required amount which is great for his blood sugar! It dissolves great and tastes in anything you is it in. And it has a convenient pour spout so measuring is a breeze.
Perfect with coffee ☕ and cream when you want it sweet. Perfect for shortbread cookies and to sprinkle on top for the sparkly glistened look. Perfect for making jelly or fruit preserves perfectly sweet if fruit is a little tart. Package has a conversion chart on it so knowing how much Truvia to use to replace the sugar a recipe calls for couldn't be easier. I was diagnosed with Adult Onset Type 2 Diabetes a few years ago; so, finding a sugar free alternative was mandatory. Truvia made that possible and there's absolutely no sacrifice on the taste.
For those of us who can't eat sugar because we're diabetic, this is for those of us who can't eat sugar because we're diabetic, this is an excellent replacement. Just because it's a replacement, doesn't mean to use a lot. Because you can actually overdo it. The price is right for me and I will go on using it forever.
Works perfectly for baking! AND... well, for anything you would normally use sugar for! You only have to use 1/2 as much of this, when substituting for real sugar. I have made breads, desserts and more with this, and you'd never know that I didn't use real sugar!
Love this product and it is much cheaper at Walmart online than at the grocery stores. If the price goes up than I will purchase it at Hannaford until then, if you keep it at this price I will continue to buy it. I like the mix of stevia with sugar. It is cheaper than straight up stevia as well when mixed with a little sugar.
I really like this /ble B/ /nd I/ of Stevia and sugar. I use it in coffee, tea, I've even used it when making homemade cookies. It has far less of an aftertaste, thin straight, Stevia, or another sugar substitute. I wish I could buy a huge bulk bag, as I go through so much of it each week. I absolutely recommend it.
Less expensive than all stevia but in a larger package. Mixes quickly and completely with cold liquids making it ideal for iced coffee or iced tea. Switched to a different brand because it was on sale but my morning oatmeal started tasting flat. Went back to Truvia and my oatmeal regained it's previous glory. The only problem is the grocery stores no longer carry it, leaving Walmart as the last and best resort to the freedom of great sweetness.
I purchased for hubbie, who is trying to reduce sugar intake. He noticed right away. So did I. It's very sweet and definitely has an aftertaste. I will try mixing it with more white sugar, and taper off (regular sugar) in time. I'm not so certain that I would buy again. It was worth a try, but for now, its a NO for me.
