The advertisement says its for mothers, but my 16 yr old granddaughter loves it. I think the little gold heart AND initial are perfect for teenagers. I would highly recommend this necklace for teenage girls.

I bought one for my sister, niece and myself (M,T,C) for Valentine's Day. They are so cute! They come with a cleaning cloth and a mini card to write a note. The chain is long enough that it doesn't look or feel like a choker and it's lightweight. The only complaint is that the “T” I gave to my sister keeps twisting upside down. Not sure if it will fade/tarnish anytime soon but so far it's holding up.
