Turtle Wax 50783 Bug and Tar Remover Trigger, 16 oz

It did not work at all. Followed the steps and tried twice with zero results. Didn't remove the sticky residue/ road tar splashes from my vehicle at all

Always read the manufacturer's directions! I used this Bug & Tar Remover several days in a row here in Texas to remove the Love Bug splatter. The infestation this year was very bad, lasted for weeks, and did lots of damage to my new cars front end. Each day, I would apply this Turtlewax product, let it soak in for 3 minute, then power wash off the Love Bugs. Worked very well. I have tried other products and I have been disappointed by the results. This stuff works!

Just didn't work as expected. If you're thinking spray this on, let it set for a couple minutes and then hand wash your vehicle, you will be disappointed. We had to scrub, a lot, pretty sure the car wash soap we use would have the same effect with the effort this product required. I would not purchase this product again.

Stayed up at the cabin for a week and my car was completely covered in tree sap....ugh. This has been the only stuff to ever get it off. Took a few rounds of spray, rubbing it in, and rinsing, but it worked very well. Works great for bugs too, I like to spray wipe and then get a carwash for best results.

I sprayed some on some black sun baked bird poop that has been there since summer of last year. This is a metal white painted garage door. I let it stay on for a few minutes then wiped with a cloth. The poop came off with a little pressure and scrubbing. I finished up by using a wet sponge. The poop is gone yay.

It worked great on bugs stuck on the front of my truck. Applying it is easy. It didn't require much scrubbing when you let it sit for the recommended time. It didn't have a strong odor. I have not tried any other brands for a long time and this is the first time I've purchased this product. I can't compare it to anything else but it does work well. Good spray bottle too.

I am so very impressed. I've tried others and kinda gave up over time but had a bit of tar on my jeep from construction area and wow, it actually worked so well! I went around and did the bugs on the grill right after and I am just shocked. It's probably cleaner now than the day I bought it. Sad but who knew!? I sprayed on, let sit right under 2 minutes and wiped with a damp microfiber towel and then back over with a damp paper towel. Bam. Gone. Mind blown .

It remves bugs but if your detailing a really bad car it struggles alot . Product runs out pretty fast but thats probably on me . If your car isnt bad then buy it but if you a detailer save up some more and buy a different product bc if you run into a bad car in my experience this product will not remove them
