This was my first time purchasing an item with installation through Walmart. I ordered a 65” TV and a TV mount, and I added the professional mounting service to my cart at checkout. For future customers, here's how it works since it isn't explained very clearly: once you place your order, Walmart forwards the installation request to Angi. About two days after my purchase, I received an email from Angi with a scheduled appointment for the TV mounting. If your item hasn't arrived yet, or if the appointment time doesn't work for you, you can easily reschedule through the Angi app. In my case, the TV arrived on time, but I needed a different appointment window, and rescheduling was quick and simple. The installer arrived on time and did a great job mounting the TV. He made sure everything looked good and asked if I wanted any adjustments before finishing. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and would definitely use it again.
This service was purchased through Walmart with purchase of TV and Mount with expectation it would occur and Walmart stood behind a service they sold. Angi has rescheduled 3 times and have yet to provide an installer to complete. Based on this 1 experience I would not recommend this service and I'm disappointed in Walmart and Angi. Now Walmart says they cannot refund it and I must deal directly with Angi. Horrible customer service by both companies.
first of all the very first appointment, I hadn't scheduled yet, but why Angies ppl show up to my daughters home in Harrisburg Pa....the tv mountsevice is for My mom in Fairburn GEORGIA...I scheduled 4 appointments and no one showed up....so I want my money back plz
i ordered it with my tv i never recieved i went to walmart to see how i can get it they told me to call ive been waiting on my wall mount for a month i really needed to put my tv up they have refunded me or asked if i still wanted it please let me know something
I paid Walmart for the TV installation. Walmart sent ANGI third party to install . ANGI showed up and the installer stated that they could not drill into the wall. Drilling into the wall was what they were hired to do. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH WALMART CUSTOMER SERVICE (NOW AI WHICH TAKES YOU ROUND AND ROUND TO NO WHERE). VERY DISAPOINTED WITH ANGI WHO DOES NOT ALLOW THE FULL INSTALLING OF WHAT THEY WERE HIRED TO DO.
I would give this zero stars if that was an option. Had a service scheduled and left work early only to find out it was cancelled with no notification. Tried for 2 weeks to reschedule and never could get someone to take the job. Also never received a refund. 10/10 - do not recommend
I had purchased TV mount services with new TV; Walmart didn't necessarily state that I needed a TV mount with TV or services; it wasn't until after I purchased that Walmart stated mount not including; so when I received my item, I was expecting a mount however, you do have to read the fine print; Walmart does state that in a separate email, ANGI, the service provider will send a separate email with scheduling details on a tech; which they did; however the first tech cancelled and rescheduled last minute; the second tech came out, super nice guy, spoke mostly Spanish, but that's who let me know that they do not include the TV mount with services; so I had to reschedule; bought a TV mount and rebooked with ANGI, had another appointment and ANGI completely cancelled the services due to no tech available for time of booking; I am not very pleased with the scheduling for ANGI; they have time and dates available but you have to wait for a tech to confirm otherwise they will schedule you about a week out. Now, I am unable to reschedule and getting a full refund for services all in which I just wanted a tech to come out for the mount.
The 1st red flag and nice enough guy, came to mount TV on wall with no stub finder. That is must! so he kept drilling multiple holes in walls and marking walls with scratches to find a place to hang. now I have to file a claim and had to hire a "professional" to do it right and have to hire a professional to fix the walls of brand new lux apartment.
I made an appointment with Angi for TV installation on Monday for Thursday work. 30 minutes before installation was due to begin, appoitment was re-scheduled for Saturday. Angi's vendor system doesn't verify someone is available and they are short on technicians. I can't recommend this service.
I hired this TV mounting service expecting a professional technician who knew what they were doing — unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The technician arrived unprepared, lacking essential tools, and the beam finder they brought wasn't functioning properly. As a result, they made incorrect holes in the wall and even added unnecessary ones in the drywall, causing avoidable damage to my property. To make matters worse, the technician hadn't even read the installation instructions for the mount. The entire purpose of hiring a professional was to ensure the job was done right, especially for a proper and secure drywall installation. Instead, it was clear that the person sent lacked both the experience and knowledge needed for the task. Honestly, I could've done a better job myself — the only reason I opted for the service was to avoid mistakes and damage, which ironically ended up happening anyway. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied and would not recommend this service to others.
