Large TV Wall Mounting Service (Mount Not Included)

During the TV replacement process, the television they were working on fell and broke. This was not the new TV, but the one that was already installed, which I planned to move to another area of the house. As a result of the fall, the TV lost value immediately, and there is now a risk that it may stop working completely, which would be a total loss. I hired this service specifically to protect a 75-inch television, and that was the main reason I chose professional installation. Unfortunately, the exact situation I was trying to avoid ended up happening. The technicians need to be much more careful when handling large and expensive electronics inside a customer's home. I am giving 2 stars only until Angi responds and takes responsibility for the damages caused.

I purchased this TV for my Super Bowl viewing party because it was promised with “NEXT DAY DELIVERY” It arrived a week later and was damaged. I reported the issue the same day and was told it would be picked up the next day. I was also assured a replacement would be delivered 48 hours after the damaged equipment was returned. Neither promise was fulfilled! After numerous days of attempts to contact customer service, I was told that the window replacement request had expired. I eventually purchased the television through another company and still awaiting my refund. I would not recommend purchasing a TV or any other major device through WalMart.

Installer was professional and courteous. A couple of days later I noticed a possible/potential TV mount issue and needed it checked out. Angi rescheduled the next appointments which they broke due to the/any installer not being available. Each time I had to take a vacation day off to be available. One of the appointments was rescheduled an hour after the appointed time. In the end, Angi did do the right thing and refunded my whole installation fee.

Person damage my walls drilling holes without centering and ultimately saying the piece wouldn't hold the TV. I gave this man my phone for him to order the correct piece, He chooses the correct one he said I needed but come to find out it fit my TV size. And no one has given me anything towards fixing the issue.

It's awful they are not professionals just random people accepting orders like it was uber or DoorDash things that they are not willing to do it I had to reschedule 2 times I had to reschedule twice before they came to install an 86-inch smart TV, and the so-called installation professional wanted me to help him set it up—even though he knew the service request was for two people—and he decided to just leave after the service had already been paid for in full. These are people who take on jobs without knowing what they're doing; they're not professionals.

The tv was delayed and Angi kept blaming wal mart and vice versa for the installation. So now, I have no installers because Angi charges $230 if it's not added on at Walmart purchase for $120. WHICH I DID ADD THAT but then Angi canceled instead of rescheduling. It's a mess and not fair.

We made an appointment to install an 85 inch TV and one guy came and asked us to hold the TV and he worked without any tools and drilled a lot of holes in the wall. And he was drilling into the wall and he put the TV under the wall so it got dirty. I sent him away because he couldn't get the brackets installed on the wall for two hours.I didn't think he was an expert.

NEVER, and I repeat NEVER use Walmart installation! They use Angi and we had three different appointments and all three were fails. They are so unhelpful and rude. Walmart won't help you either since they book through a third party. Ridiculous! Stay away!

Normally, when you order wall mounting service for your TV they give you a price for that service and they also give you a price that includes the bracket and they tell you what types of brackets they have. The price that I paid for the service is normally would post would charge me to mount the TV and for the bracket but it's OK. I know better next time.
