Tyler TCP-01 Cassette Player Portable AC with Microphone

Bought this for my 93 year old Mother (who is in an Assisted Living Facility) so she could listen to the Bible on tape. She is legally blind, but can easily operate, load and unload the cassette player. Highly recommend for the very elderly due its ease of operation.

I would prefer that it clicked off automatically at the beginning of the cassette, but it does click off automatically at the end of the cassette. The recording quality level is decent. The quality level of cassette recorders seems to improve based on the expense. A microphone and adapter are included. They seem to be adversely affected by other electronic devices. The machine microphone works pretty well.

The screen question didn't even belong up there, so I didn't answer it. Otherwise, the player recorder was very easy to use and it recorded and played back very well.

It does real well. Loud enough and clear on my old language cassettes. Thanks.

Lightweight playback sounds great

There is background sound present when you record music, especially loud in music with brass instruments. The recorder is slow-running when using forward or rewind.

It was a used Item and pieces were missing, I want my money back or a brand new one with all the pieces! The Micraphone was missing! Were the tape goes it's all scratched up and you can tell it's been used! Even were the battries go!

This recorder was purchased to record and play back music for rehearsing choral music. Using a cleanly recorded cassette, the playback was uneven which affects the tempo and pitch of the music. Returned this device to the store.

This does not work! What a piece of crap!!!
