I prefer the taste, smell and texture of Tyson canned chicken compared to other brands or the generic brand. I use this canned chicken in salads, meals mixed with rice or pasta etc. I have never had a bad can or a can w a lot of fatty chicken. I highly recommend!!!
My correct name spelling is John Wayne Martin, am very much alive at 74 years young in Texas on this 7th day of November 2025.
Great for many recipes!! When opening the can, I drain the water. Then rinse the chicken. I've used this in buffalo chicken dip and chicken salad recipes. It has been consistent with taste and texture every time. Not spicy or salty, good quality, convenient can of chicken.
This makes the best chicken salad drain and shred the chicken the texture is amazing and the consistency is just like if you just cut it from the bone. Just add some sliced pickles or dill relish and some mayonnaise and a little bit of Monterey steak seasoning and you have the best chicken salad.
The consistency and juicy. I've never had a can that was ever dry. Really tasteful. We use it to make a chicken salad and it hits the spot every time it never fails.
I bought 1 can of this chicken to see what I thought of it. I was pleasantly surprised. The texture was almost like a perfectly cooked chicken breast. The size of the pieces are perfect for a chicken salad, which is what I wanted it for. So easy to throw in a can of this delightful tasting chicken, some lettuce, some tomato and a little dressing. It was the perfect meal for a hot day. I am shopping this week for more and along with my cans of tuna, I will be now purchasing many cans of this low fat, no sugar canned chicken. This will be on my list every shopping day from now on!
Fully cooked white premium chunk chicken breast that makes a chicken salad really tasty. The can gives you 19g protein and so far I've never had bad chunks in them. The can also don't give you a nasty smell when you open it like others. Quick ingredient for so many recipes.Good quality of chicken breast chunks.
I use Tyson chicken chunks for my go to chicken salad. Very affordable and the quality has always been more than satisfactory. Great if you don't want to make a huge batch
I bought this for my cats. They will not eat it. It does not smell good and I could never eat chicken in a can i bought this for my cats. They will not eat it. It does not smell good and I could never eat chicken in a can doesn't sound good
TYSON 5 oz (supposedly can chicken) smelled an tasted like (what i would imagine cat food taste like) it said chicken but i swear it smelled and tasted like TUNA 🤢🤢🤢. I had already put ALL of the ingredients together and dumped in the can meat last. Had to throw it out! wasted a lot more than $1.17 in food to be thrown away! I'm wondering if they package tuna and chicken at the same site and forgot to change the labels! I'm Not a picky eater, so for me to say it taste horrible, IT TASTED HORRIBLE! If you're trying to 'stock up' on can goods, DON'T BUY TYSON. The Swanson can chicken taste like can chicken but at least it doesn't smell and taste like TUNA! 🤢
