Ugly Stik Inshore Select Spinning Fishing Rod

I bought this for trout, panfish, and small rock bass. It is working awesome. Pairing it with a small reel and 4 lb test you get some nice fights. It cast's well and will detect any bite. Great buy

This is a great rod. Very comfortable to hold. It's a soft action which is perfect. You don't always want super-fast action. Great for super lightweight lures.

Recently got into ultralight fishing and this rod was the one I picked up. it has incredible flexibility which allows for decent casting of small lures. I use 1/16oz jighead's with ease. the rod feels great in hand and it's incredibly sturdy, allowing me to catch up to 4 pound bass without trouble.

its exactly what i wanted

Very well made rod with just the parabolic action I wanted. I can cast small lures accurately and feel the rod loading like a fly rod. I live it!

I have used Eagle Claw rods.for over 65 years. Best quality for the price. Casting a 1/16oz jig on 4 lb test mono is east and accurate along with very good sensitivity to feel even the slightest touch from a fish!

first time to try this rod. seems.really nice especially for the price.

It's much too sensitive for trout fishing can't handle anything above 8 pound test line and even that's too much very very sensitive. I don't really care for it. Not something I'll be using very much.

Tip section (top 1/3) is just too "whippy" for my taste.
