Wonderful value for the price. I bought it as a Christmas gift and it's been used while relaxing in bed. Clarity could be a bit better but for the price you can't really beat it.
We have gone through several projectors over the years and a common theme is difficulty in formatting the image to the correct size and format. Another major issue is the need to always connect to another source to access digital information such as a phone or laptop. This projector eliminates both of these issues with the best autoformatting we have ever used and access to dozens of different video apps like Netflix, Prime and Roku directly on the device without the need for additional hardware.
Have used it for 5-6 days so far. Highly recommend it, bought it from Wa lm art. com on Cyber Monday for $140. THE GOOD: Excellent picture quality, - resolution at a long distance is fantastic, no pixellation. - auto focuses even if casting on a wall at an angle. (Had not thought of this and is a game changer for me) do not need to mount the projector or have it in the center of the room. - if the video is bright enough, the images projected are pretty sharp and clear and totally acceptable... For a $140, its incredible, there is a more expensive $700 version for bright room projecting, but this projector gets the job done well at an amazing price point. Sound is good (but I have an external soundbar) Setup: is extremely easy, like any wireless android TV. Clear instructions. THE BAD: - not necessarily about the projector itself but for the android TV... since all my computers are Macs, would have preferred a native google app that could wirelessly screen cast. (Casting directly from Google Chrome works flawlessly and very easily) but outside of Google Chrome, a wired HDMI is the only option so far. Minor inconvenience.
Screen size is adaptable excellent quality picture easy to set up easy to use. There's nothing I don't like about this projector. My son and I both bought one a few hundred dollars versus 12 to 15 hundred for a TV. It was a no-brainer very happy with the purchase.
Value for money and easy to use, sound is okay but would be enough for camping. Great picture quality and auto focus is amazing and you no need to keep center of the room, even if we keep it diagonal at corner of the room it will focus perfectly. I recommend this product who is looking value for money..
I bought the projector for black Friday at half off. I would highly recommend this projector. It has a great picture and a high definition of colors. I love the stand the projector sits in, making it easy to move all over the house. Internal speakers are just ok, but the fact that any bluetooth speaker can be connected is a huge plus . Android helps make sure that you can downloaded every application you want, to watch practically everything.
Pound for pound, this projector is THE KING of value! 👑💰 Just WOW. The Ultimea C40 absolutely crushes it! 🎯 This isn't just a projector; it's an entertainment powerhouse that checks every box: ✨ Brilliantly bright for any setting ✨ Crystal-clear autofocus that's magic ✨ So easy to use right out of the box My only tiny wish? A built-in battery for the ultimate outdoor movie hack! 🔋 But that's it. This thing is MEATY and built to last. We've put it through the wringer: · Camping trips under the stars 🏕️ · Bedtime ceiling movies 🛌🎬 · Big-screen gaming via screen mirroring 🎮 · Giant office computer display 💻 · Epic tailgate parties 🚗🍔 The real test? It survived over 200 guest check-ins at our vacation rental (UnpluggedCabins.com) in the Catskills! That's commercial-grade durability. 💪 The proof? I've bought THREE of them in 9 months! 🛒🛒🛒 If you want insane performance without the insane price, stop looking. This is it. Ultimea C40 for the win! 🏆
I'm really sad to write this review, because up until recently, this has been one of my favorite purchases. Over the past two months though (have had for about 6), small features kept glitching or stopped functioning and now the android tv function doesn't even work anymore and just says no signal. No easy screen mirroring for Apple. Can't even access wifi network settings without android tv feature that no longer works. Feeling really sad :(
After 5 months, I'm having to look for another new projector. At first, I loved this projector. It was a replacement for a cheaper model that had significant dimming on one side of the protection after only a year on a 20K hr bulb. Then the problems started with this new one. The bottom half of the buttons on the remote stopped working (including the home button and the back button) which made the projector effectively useless. Replacement remotes are scarce compared to a roku replacement. I waited 3 weeks for 2 replacements from China (over $40!). One of the replacements had the same problem out of the package that the original was already having. Thankfully the second remote worked... for a while anyway. Then the black spotlight showed up on the screen after owning it for only 5 months (30K hours is almost 3.5 years if used full time). The placement of this black spot is in the worst spot too... usually right where the speaker or main action is happening. Yes, the blackness is really as big as you see it in the photo! So, I have 3 partially working remotes that don't even create one fully functioning remote together, and a screen with a dark black spot in the middle of the screen. Hence, the unwanted search for a new projector.
worked great for a month. later lots of issue with staying connected with internet and picture/focus clarity. all other devices at home works better except this one
