Umbra Cappa Expandable Single Curtain Rod 66-120"

Strong, easy to install, and nice looking. The rod itself is shiny and metallic looking. Like the other reviews have said, the end cap is more plastic and cheaper looking up close, but from the distance you hang it at it looks great. 5 stars because this is a solid 11 foot curtain rod for the price.

Love everything about the Cappa Curtain Rod. It's a perfect fit for my decor. It has a simple, clean but slick look about it. The rod came with everything needed to install. I had to call the Toronto store because I had some questions and they were extremely helpful.

Stylish and easy to install. The adjustable feature allowed for customizing the fullness of my drapes. The rod does easily scrap so be careful when unpacking.

Overall, they look nice. There were some minor defects out of the box, but you can't see them once they're installed. I don't like that you have to screw directly onto the rod. It creates a scratch which does not make it easy if you ever want to reposition. (I put painters tape between the screw and the rod to mitigate this a little bit)

Just like other Cappa rods the quality and finish is there. Easy installation as always. My only small gripe is that since the pole is built in 4 intersections, this slightly hinders the drapes as you slide them.

The rod itself is great but the wall plugs were terrible. Several pulled right out. I had to run out to the hardware store and buy better ones. If you buy this rod don't waste your time with the plugs provided.

This curtain rod isn't as strong as I'd hoped. It will bow if it isn't supported in the middle. Also, there was a connecting part missing. Once it's installed, it's o.k.

This is a rather low quality rod. I had to modify it so that the rod would not sag excessively. After modifications it had the desired look for the space, but overall, I was disappointed by the quality of the item. I would consider anlrernative options in the future.

I purchased multiple sizes of the Cappa Curtain rod in Gold to curtain a room with differing window sizes. These rods are incredibly disappointing. Even the smallest rod for a single 2ft wide window comes in too many pieces and bows in the middle! My curtains are not heavy, so this should not be happening, but yet it is happening on every single size of window I have, even when using all the 'support' options that come with the rod. Another downside is the lack of ability to adjust the hardware to bring the curtain rod closer or further to the window. Yet another downside is the hardware is a complete circle, so when hanging, you have to slide on section in, slide a curtain on the rod, slide the next section through, add the curtain for the other side, etc. Super inconvenient to install and hang. Would much rather prefer a 'C' shaped hardware to place the rod into, instead of struggling to loop through each one. Final flaw: the finish of the gold scratches incredibly easy. I am not even using curtains with 'rings' and they look scratched up just from installing and having to slide through the terrible hardware design.

This curtain rod is way too flimsy to hold anything of substance. If I didn't need it right away I would have returned it. They have stopped making it sturdy enough for even lightweight curtains. I am disappointed.
